This was definitely for me!! God told me he is restoring many things in my life, joy, finances, kids, home life. Etc. and then in August came severe Anxiety, panic attacks, irrational thoughts, fear (never experienced this before)… SERIOUS attacks of the enemy. It’s been HARD. But man of man has God realigned my agenda and turned me to focus on his KINGDOM! I’m beyond thankful. I’m at the end of it… I know that because God woke me up this morning and I immediately had the thought of “after you suffer a little while” and while being half asleep… I couldn’t remember if it was a Bible verse or not… then I immediately looked it up and found 1 Peter!! “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬ He HIMSELF is restoring my peace, joy, LIFE! I’m coming out on the other side full of FAITH, protection, and his provision for my life… whatever that looks like!

@@sil5841 SO many verses. I had to fight pretty much all day kind with the word of God. Psalm 91 has been my go to recently. I get to REST in shelter of the most high. Also ”For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.“ ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭ Nothing formed against me shall prosper I sought the Lord and he answered me, he delivered me from all my fear. I have authority to trample of snakes and scorpions and to overcome ALL the power of the enemy. The Lord is my strength and my shield. I’m royal priesthood, a holy nation, gods special possession! I have the mind of Christ. Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. Gal 3:13. I could go on but praying these over you as well! He’s our strong tower! Speak them out loud.

Praying that dangerous prayer will always get you in the thick of it. I remember praying that when I just felt like I didn’t know what my purpose was & afterwards it was just trial after trial & I was like “God I know what I prayed for, but I’m not that strong hey, can you go easy on me please.”🤣 And then got through it, when I really thought there was no way through it. And so whenever I feel like I’m starting to lose focus I pray “God cleanse me & purify me, my life is Yours, use me.” It’s a hill of a battle after praying that, but the character development is worth it. Even though it doesn’t feel like it when you’re going through it. God is never a waster so He’ll use that trial for your good & His Glory. I will say the complaining part is tough, sometimes you find yourself complaining, but a lil gratitude goes a long way.

WOW!!! If you pass the test, you get authority in that area. WOW!!!! That is what happened. The experience seemed unfair but it moved, almost forced me into a position of authority.

I'm married to a wolf in sheep's clothing. He does say so many good things from the pulpit and talks more on a Sunday morning then he does to me in a couple months. Every time I would ask him if he could practice what he preached Justin behavior for me to show me that he loved me I would get yelled at or ignored. But he has a following that pastor idol worships him and I've been told I am nothing many times and it is okay that he texts all other women much more than me because it's for the church. One woman totally replaced me and everything I did at the church and he was fine with that so when I left him when she tried to ruin my Thanksgiving the church is giving him a pity party. He has no humility. He was actually happy and smirking that I left. I'm listening to this and crying because it is an answer to prayer that people are saying exactly what I've been thinking about the Holy Spirit. AND to see a couple interacting talking this way is very healing and good for soul and spirit. God is good. I married a covert narcissist who gave me a mirage and a lie the wedding and the mask slowly was coming off even during the honeymoon. I stayed with him almost 13 years now and I have done my slave term like Joseph. these are the end days and Jesus did say this would happen in Matthew 23 and Matthew 24. We were unequally yoked and just like the Bible says how one will be taken and one will be left.

Stay in prayer keep focusing on Jesus and what he is urging you to do. Use this time of disconnection to connect with the Father delight in him as your creator husband best friend healer. The Lord directs is to pray for our enemies you know the secret flaws of your husband no one knows about bind them in the name of JESUS trust totally in the word not your flesh. Take full responsibility for your mistakes and give them to Jesus cry out to him then listen and follow and watch his hand. Get sound Christian counseling it has been a God sent for me worth every penny. I write this to myself as I'm going through too I hope it helps you. I stopped focusing on him and put my relationship with God first....WOW I'm learning how to heal with God again.

I just finished watching Katherine Kuhlman right before this & she was saying she remembers exactly the day she died & the spot exactly where she was on the floor & I have died in bits & pieces, but this season I have been in, I know is the refining for me. It hurt & there were things that were not so pretty, but Lord will it be worth it to stand in white as His bride and be the purified gold before Him

"I wanna deal with your character in private because I want to trust you on a larger level" amen, I faced temptations to sin privately and very nearly sinned but then a soft but clear voice came into my soul saying.." why do you want to steal this fish, just to feed your stomach for a day?" "and miss out on the blessing I'm storing up for you, it's just around the corner." I realised it was the Lord and immediately said thank you Lord, i will give you praise in my desert season because you are God and you never change. NOW JUST TWO MONTHS LATER, I GOT A FINE JOB FETCHING A 4FIG SALARY. I can see a promotion coming up already but it must be remembered that you have to be ready to pay the price first. Self denial.

Man! I've been praying about stewarding God's glory and character!!!! I've also heard God says ( when I asked Him why it hurts so much) ... " You're dying" He said... Then He explained, He's letting parts that don't reflect and shine Him properly die. So true! A famine of character!

Wow, I just went for something similar to that. I’m 23 and last summer was very hard for me, I was mad at my friends, my family for no reason and now I ask God, was I mad at you Lord or was I going thru the process? Sometimes we make our own storm but sometimes the Lord makes us go thru the storm, but how do I know? Now I’m feeling much better and my relationship w God is getting better. ❤ this episode has open my eyes. Thank you guys. God bless you 🙏🏽

I have a friend that used to go to church. She finally got tired of waiting for prayer answers and started doing things on her own. She is doing much better than other Christian friends I have. There are lots of people that don't pray, don't believe in God and they are doing very well. They don't have Job's friends accusing them all the time.

I used to scroll right past any videos by John because I knew it was the truth lol. Now, he's my favorite. God will be with you throughout this refining process but it's not easy. If God is for us, who...WHO can be against us? Father God, continue to break me and mold me into who YOU want me to be. It's not about me, it's all about you. My 55 year old daughter had a severe stroke in February and is paralyzed on right side and s difficulty speaking. It has been a very difficult time but God has never left me and my daughter. He has done so amazing things and I believe she will be healed in God's time. We will come out of this stronger and closer to God praise His Holy Name

I always find it amazing how the Holy Spirit will give common themes throughout his teachers. The analogy of the gold ring hit me -- I cried, went in a posture of prayer .. the anger issue in my character surfaced after a fiery trial in my marriage. I hated the anger - this is not the person i want to be. I want God’s will be done in my life.

This episode spoke to me so so deeply. It’s extremely timely and exactly what I needed to hear. I’ve been going through a very hard 4 years now of nothingness, and last year was the most excruciatingly painful year, I’ve ever been in. One of my sisters passed away at the beginning of the year, then my best friend in April; and his death absolutely brought out the kind of extremely painful emotions I felt when my parents passed away. The grief was so intolerable! And then my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in July. At that point, I fully realized that I needed God even more than ever! And I’ve absolutely leaned on Him and fully surrendered to this very hard path I’m walking. Amazingly my faith has been my saving grace. I realized at the end of 2023 that I’m truly processing through all of my emotions positively not negatively. And even though I’m not there yet, I can see that bright light at the end of my dark tunnel. This episode has shown me that I can do this, and I can let God continue to refine me. Thank you so much for all of your transparency, that’s helping us understand that our journeys may be different but the process and requirements of us are the same. So the more we share what we’re learning, the more we help each other. God bless you so much and may He continue to bless your ministry 🙏🏽🙌🏽. I most certainly plan to listen to this episode again and take notes. I NEEDED IT💯!

That’s such a good thing to point out: They were not self inflicted trials. That’s key to understand. That describes the last few trials I went through. They were not self inflicted and it feels very unfair.

There is a difference between "Character Ethic" based on never changing principles versus the glitter of the "Personality Ethic" - get rich quick scheme. Here in the U.S. we value the latter over integrity, honesty, fairness, etc. Shalom.🕊️🔥👑

I also prayed these prayers, especially Covid and until now, I have been through refining. And thanked God, He goes with me. Hi John and Lisa. I have came across your youtube channel and have watched a few. This one struck a chord with me because I believe the Lord is taking me through the wilderness right now and I'm starting to see more clearly why. This is not the first time I'm going through trials but it's different every time. So thank you for reminding me that the Lord is purifying my character as it has not been pure lately. Your son on another episode said one thing that was profound for me. He said God does not always give us a road map but He will always give us a compass. Right now I don't see a road map. I'm moving by faith by relying on the strength and guidance of the Holy Spirit. I have the willingness to do so much for His Kingdom but He has told me to stop and wait....

Sanctification. As we submit our lives and yield to Him we will produce more of His character. Important to pray for the fruits of the spirit Galatians 5:22-23 : the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

I hope so, I hope his character is really solid. He just spoke endorsing KBA with Tamara Lowe. She personally coached me to pressure people for money and lie to my pastor for profit. By endorsing her, she was able to fool more people and get more momey. I'm hoping he just doesnt know anything about who she really is. I've always respected him

I’ve must of been a real mess lol I’ve been on that refiners wheel for over 20 years now 😮😢😭 definitely in the best character position I’ve ever been in tho 😅 but still waiting for those kingdom doors to open! 🙏🏻
