If you're only seeing this part I'll give context: OP is an older guy who owns a modified 1999 NSX and he's at a Cars and Coffee (Car meet). He isn't dressed wealthy but he is and goes to wipe a stain off his car when some 20 yo and friends tell him to stop touching his Dad's car. Obviously OP is confused and goes along with it, touching his own car and the kid gets pissed and calls his dad over. The Dad actually presses OP still claiming the car is his, people rush over and ask them to prove it

He pushed him back so he'd be stuck with retaliation charges and probably wouldn't get anything. If someone punches you once and then backs off, don't do anything. Unless you're continuously being assaulted/threatened in some way, self-defence won't fly.
