The Steve Nash example is terrible, he wasn’t a great physical specimen but what made him great was his accuracy with hand/eye coordination which translated well in many sports. I grew up in northern parts of south Africa and I can tell you that to be a good runner sometimes is all about one's level of endurance, kids from poor families in our black communities will always be the best in sports,fights or just by pushing wheelbarrows because they are so used to endurance in many parts of life. I'm sure most Kenyans are used to walking and running long distance

There's a joke that's actually true: If you want to be a sports star, choose your parents carefully. Training, hard work is useful, ~necessary~. It makes you better individually, it helps insulate against injuries, and it can give you an edge on your competition. But to whatever degree you're good, genetics is the overriding reason.

I've always heard there's no such thing as the "sport's gene " if you will and I don't know but it seems to me that every race has certian different traits , that are more common in them than others , for example blacks tend to almost always smoke weed and play basketball , Latinos tend to almost always work on cars or some form of contrstruction. , white dudes tend to usually drink a lot and so forth , tho it doesn't show up in the blood , certain traits is more common in others , example Asians are work-aholics , Arabs are obviously obsessed with religion , the middle east is full of religious wars ! , certain races are better built for sports and than others and are more intelligent in certain fields than others. last example Latinos have the most boxing titles , why ?, cuz some how they have more knowledge in this particular sport than others
