He was scared, he said. He was almost hit while innocently crossing the street, he said. Probably learned to hate cars while attending one of his school's regular stop oil rallies. Certainly, anyone who looks at the daily news can see it. There is an epidemic of people everywhere 'grossly overreacting' to the smallest slight. Be it a car horn or a casual glance on the subway or having a queer look or even unexpectedly wishing someone a happy new year. Pretty much anything will set the modern youth into an uncontrolled homicidal rage. It's unfortunate for the foreign family, but they will have to accept the fact that under the lax law in this country, the criminal will now get all the breaks. This fellow will likely as not be found mentally defective and therefore too challenged to be punished with anything but several soft government programs.
