I think you were pretty harsh on Ryan Blaney. No, he may not be the best driver right now, but he is very consistent and quietly up there. He is currently 8th in points, better than teammate Brad Keselowski, and he has an average finish of 13.13 so far this year, which isn’t bad. He does need some improvement still to be a championship driver, but he is consistent and doesn’t tear up his equipment. I understand where you come from though, with him only having 1 win each year and never really seeming like he can truly break through into the championship fight.

I remember hearing Marks and Trackhouse put Kurt Busch as their number one target for the 1 car, it's likely Kurt refused the offer in favor of Trackhouse. In no way did they go out of their way to pick Chastain over Busch, Chastain was the number 2 option.

1 I definitely don’t see chase leaving HMS in 2023 unless he got a huge contract offer from like JGR to really compete against Larson. I also don’t see Bell going anywhere from JGR. Ty Gibbs is not going to threaten that seat. He will get a cup ride, but it’ll be when Denny or Truex Jr retires. Which I don’t believe is that far off. JGR has a good start in young talent with C.Bell. They aren’t just going to throw him away like they did Erik.

Ryan Newman doesn't feel like a part time racer. It just doesn't feel like a Ryan Newman thing. Also by no means do I think Trackhouse fumbled by getting Ross. Ross is just 100 points back of Kurt, I think Kurt declined because he wanted to be a good, former teammate and leave Ross an open slot. I think Kurt was probably asked first by Trackhouse to which he declined. Trackhouse then decided to call Ross who of course in this situation accepted. Oh, and also, you keep talking about Ross like he hasn't done anything, firstly, he's got a handful of top 10's to his credit this season, along with a couple top 5's including a second place finish at Nashville. Second, Ross is a driver Trackhouse can build on long term. While Kurt just has about 2 or 3 years left before he realistically hangs it up.

Well, after looking at what NRF has put down for his 2022 NASCAR roster, I highly doubt that Josh Berry will drive the #15 car because I believe that Dale Jr. may try to have him run full-time next year in the Xfinity series. Second, as for Kurt Busch, I think we better wait and say when he'll announce his plans for next year. 3rd, I don't know what Ryan Newman's plans could be for next year, but we'll have to see. Fourth, as for the driver who could drive for GMS Racing, that's still a big what if. And finally, I don't know what the part-time car for Kaulig Racing will be, but I guess we'll have to wait. Until then, looking forward to next season!
