A lot of people want to try to race faster than the other people, and their idea of fun probably doesn't involve hours spent switch bugging to have a chance at a competitive edge. It would've been fun, but there are simply too many car switching things, that it would make it so basically every map wr was finished with the bug, and people who just want to race would be left in the dust forever. It's a shame, but ultimately, I think it's for the best.

Susuwi actually played my very first map I ever made (A wet wood map) and took the WR off me, so I spent the next two days grinding it out to take it back off him, haha. It's called "Driftwood" for anyone interested!

In a way I still like to watch these videos but they aren't as grabbing when I see a lot of the cuts as shorts way beforehand. I don't know if it would be worth changing much because the clips obviously perform but I feel it would be more interesting to have clips that focus on stuff that isn't being made directly into a video days after. Still enjoy the content regardless

Iy lowkey wouldn't surprise me if americans only do well at "goofy" maps because they're big on Rocketleague there. Probably a lot of them have come over from that game, bringing those dynamic car control skills into use in Trackmania. The european players meanwhile have come through knowing all the games in the series and those technical skills required for them along with them.

First time I've EVER (as a very casual player, only play the free parts) gotten top 50 in my state on my SECOND RUN on the map. I think it was on map 2 or 3. Pretty sure 2. Edit: Meant the new Summer one, not Spring.

TRACKMANIA is funny. Cause I'm not an experienced player, and out of all the maps, I can easily beat regional experienced players on one certain Ice level, yet I could never get in first at the finish line cause I always mess up on a wall drift RIGHT BEFORE THE FINISH, that puts me in 12th... I'm slowly learning.... but other than that. I stop playing the game every time because I get mad at the fact I have to pay $20 per year just to race community made tracks. That's right! $20 just to play a racing game. So far, all my official records are just beating California top players on the campaign's by doing only Pure Full Speed(Non regional) I have not played Summer Yet. Update: I have achieved all Author Medals that are available to me for the 2024 Summer Campaign.

I love trackmania, but lately I've been feeling less and less motivated to play. This is a game that lends itself to competition, and of course you want to be as good as you can, but with all these more and more tricky/precise mechanics, and the new cars (hate the new cars) it's just not something I enjoy anymore. The game completely lost me where in order to achieve a good time you need to quantum slide, and use action keys, and you can't get in a flow, because oh well, you wanted to have a nice map with the stadium car? sucks to be you, here is the rally car, and there are another 1 million trick for everything else. Lately my only exposure to tm is watching wirtual videos, and the more and more complex the game gets, the less and less I want to play unfortunately.
