So when Boomerang injects Ivy with the bomb under coercion from Waller that earns a beating from the squad because despite trying to kill them Ivy's still a little kid. But when Boomerang injects Toyman as petty revenge the most we get is an eyeroll from Deadshot. Toyman's also a kid AND is trying to help them! This game...

Depending on the age of the child, I think there is a little less fear. Although it shouldn't be like that, probably all of them (except the police officer who told him "we're not friends") deep down felt bad... well, except boomerang... that guy didn't stop with a girl, much less with a little teenager. Well just My opinión.. but for me Both things are sad...poor kiddos I hope their little heads don't explode, that would be brutal.😭

@@clacktloc5816 I agree that both are messed up situations. I just wish that the game was consistent and acknowledged both as being messed up. Instead, they just acknowledge Ivy getting injected as a sad thing and then treat Toyman getting injected as a harmless prank. It makes the characters feel inconsistent.

So apparently there’s two versions of Toyman in DC. Winslow Schott, the classic Superman villain, and this kid, Hiro Okamura. Far as I can tell, Hiro’s worked with both the Titans and the Justice League. I don’t really have anything against someone taking on a villain’s name as a hero but WHY not just use Winslow Schott? Seeing this wide eyed, shonen protag get a bomb in his head just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Not only is classic Toyman more iconic but he’d fit more within the setting AND there’s literally no point in implanting Hiro since he’s willing to help anyway! And besides, if you ARE going to implant someone with a brain bomb, I’d rather it be someone who DESERVES it like Schott!

I find it oddly ironic that Waller feels bad for Hiro since he was willing to help and didn’t require a nano.

It gets even more messed up when you consider he's a kid. The squad gets morally outraged over Boomerang injecting Ivy to make her cooperate since she's so young, but Toyman isn't much older and his injection is treated as a joke. Their moral compass is a roulette wheel.

A better written game wouldn't have shoved the heroic kid version of Toyman in the goddamn Suicide Squad, but the rinky dink jester-puppet version to better match the more cynical tone they're trying to go for. As far as this goes, it's just an excuse to have our protagonists roll their eyes and all but spit on some kid for being joyful in their setting.

Yeah this is the second character in the comics to use the Alias, he's a hero. I don't really get why they used him instead of the original, especially since this version of the squad doesn't have any superman villains and it would have been a nice touch. I guess they probably didn't want to use a character that was canonically a pedo but I feel like regardless this kid's inclusion was a bit shite.

Mayby try going to the hall of justice and talk to the npc's to see if you can get them or you can get them later on the game also don't listen to them the game is good but the story is bad thay didn't even play this game all thay did was just see batman's death and instinly hatet the game becaus thay are batman arkham fans also thay just cri baby's the game is fun me trust me
