..... I guess we all know exactly what your point was then, huh? Not that you are a fan of Star Wars that you want to enjoy that with other people... But that you want to dictate your personal political fetishes on others in exchange for the privilege of enjoying something that you really don't have any say over. If your first and foremost worry about anything is whether or not it offends lgbtq or minorities, then you're not here for actual thing you're pretending to be here for. And that two and a half hour video looks like it might have been good, but now I'm not even going to bother. Sorry kiddo, you don't get to take this from the majority of people that enjoy it. And if that's the case, don't pretend like it's not. "Cope" is what someone does when they try to worm their way into something that other people enjoy and take it over as a platform for their own little political fetish. I think the wildest thing about this iceberg video is that the star wars movies aren't this long. Research, recording, and editing all this must've taken an ungodly amount of time.

Fun Fact: Jake Lloyd started a rumor that were was a 6-Hour Cut of TPM & he said the voice actor of Grevious thought it was great. This was either likely an assembly cut or Lloyd made it up (which is the most likely scenario).

Personally, I don't like the sequels. But if somebody else does, who am I to put them down? Hell, I enjoy the prequels, so I don't have a right to judge sequel fans. It's all star Wars, and in the spirit of star Wars. Each film brings new characters, lore, and creatures to explore, which is what I love about star Wars is the unique content to get into. Let us rise above the MHA and Warrior Cat fandom 🙏

I really like all of the unique reviews of the final Iceberg levels in your iceberg videos. Instead of just reviewing them like the other levels, you add your own touches to them, by making it like a character is discussing these points as if they were conspiracy theories (cuz most of them are). It’s a really neat touch that I feel sets your iceberg videos apart from others!

There’s a browser exclusive Lego Star Wars The Clone Wars game that I used to play as a kid. I tried finding it awhile ago but it seems to be lost. It seems to be very obscure and it’d be cool if you talked about it in a lego iceberg.

I really like the last segment with the robot voice, most icebergs just play some creepy music on the deepest layer but this works so much better its the droid voice without underlying music is not only topical but also quite unsettling without being explicitly meant to be scary...

Honestly with a few tweaks, the “duel of the fates” movie could’ve been kind of interesting. Change up hux’s lines, connect the kylo vs Vader fight with the world between worlds, let phasms stay dead, get rid of Rey/Poe, boom now we’re laughing

Battlefront Elite Squadron was one of my favorite games as a kid. getting to go from inside a capital ship, hop in a fighter and get into dogfights was great. I know there were other more grounded levels too where you could play as Jedi and sith, but man it was so immersive for me as a kid

Smash Bros and Lost Media have already been covered pretty extensively. I'd recommend Blameitonjorge and All Things Lost's Lost Media icebergs and NEScRETRO's Smash Bros iceberg. You can't top those

I've seen all 3 and they're some of the highest quality iceberg videos i've ever seen (alongside yours, of course) Do you know about the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series of games? There is an iceberg for them, but it's quite confusing. Listen man, I don't want to give anyone the wrong idea, but is it really necessary to bring up all the toxicity and "the fandom menace" and such? Like your intro kinda threw me off there. I liked your Batman iceberg and was interested in this one but idk. I understand the Star Wars fan base is all over the place and there is SOME toxicity but again, was the disclaimer really needed and why is it aimed specifically at "the fandom menace"? Like don't get me wrong, this is a good video, your icebergs are great! I'm sorry if you've had any issue with other fans or something, that disclaimer just seems really unnecessary and all this mention of toxicity kinda seems self-defeating in a way. Wanted to get that off my chest. Still a good video and nice that you're promoting other channels and good parts of the franchise

I am extremely tired of dealing with the Fandom Menace and toxic members of the Star Wars community. They're everywhere. The single biggest Star Wars content creator works with these people and has a community filled with these people. I just want to talk about my favorite franchise in peace without shitbags going "muh sjw, decanon the sequel trilogy, there's a civil war in lucasfilm, you're a fake fan" and all that. Any Star Wars content I produce, which I will do more of, will not be friendly to these types of people. I want nothing to do with them. The opening message is meant to make those kinds of people not want to watch. They may leave a nasty little comment that I'll laugh about or respond to if I'm in the mood but overall I do not want them watching my content. This goes for any community, I never put one in the Batman iceberg or the Spider-Man one or the Transformers one or the Cowboy Bebop one, etc because those communities, while having toxic parts, are ones I rarely see. The Star Wars fandom however, all you gotta do is search Star Wars on youtube or twitter and you'll almost be instantly meant with videos and comments of being bad people. I get what you mean by your comment and not mad by it at all so if it seemed like I was annoyed with you or anything, I apologize, that wasn't even remotely my intention.

@@Pig3636 sorry to hear that dude. I understand the paranoia of it all and how exhaustive it can be. There's extremes on both sides but I guess it makes sense. It just seems kinda self defeating to not want any drama or toxicity or to attract the fandom menace while bringing it up several times and having the disclaimer be the first thing we hear. Sometimes it's better to ignore it and not bring it up. Again it threw me off but I guess I understand why you did it. Not like it can be changed now anyways. This is a good video and it's nice that you're trying to promote the nicer parts of the franchise and fans.

My man Jacen Solo should have had a spot in tier 3, as he was something else, especially after his fall. If you interrupted him while he was using battle meditation, you best believe you were dead when the battle was over. He killed Mara Jade, he attempted to burn the Kashyyyk world-forest, he tortured Luke's son, Ben, in an effort to turn the boy, he kidnapped and threatened to kill his own daughter when his gf wouldn't give him her fleet, used Anakin Solo as a bargaining chip to lure Tahiri Veila, and he operated on a weird philosophy of using the dark side but not being corrupted by it to justify the atrocities he committed. I cannot believe he wasn't there somewhere :(

Cool video, I've been a star wars fangirl since I was a kid, I grew up reading the expanded universe books, comics, and listening to the audiobooks. Not too keen on the new canon/ canon, but, I'm always curious when hearing about what new lore is created to replace the old lore.

About Jediism. When you enlist, they put your religious preference on your dog tags. Well in one of my platoons we had a guy who picked Jedi for his and it was on his tags, then another guy from a different platoon but same barracks had his tags with Sith on his lol

What's even funnier about the Holiday Special is that apparentely Carrie Fisher asked George Lucas for a copy of it, since he wanted her to do a dvd c9mmentary. She I guess played it at parties and get people to piss off. I guess he reluctantely accepted, which is hilarious to think that he actually had like 1 copy tucked away somewhere, for whatever reason...

I very much love the canon timeline. All three seasons of the Mandalorian, Andor Bad Batch, and Obi-Wan Kenobi are fantastic. Tales of the Jedi, Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka are okay. Don’t care about Visions. As for a part 2, I’d rather just remake this video instead

Because from what I remember when I still used Twitter, they called out some stuff, like "over sexualized" fanart, but ignored stuff like people attacking Mark Hamill over wishing to have had a scene of the OT cast together. So they only called out toxicity from one side of the fandom while ignoring the other

i love the last jedi. its the only sequel i think is good. but holy fucking shit sequel fans and last jedi fan boys can be quite toxic. even hello greedo's discord (which he has no real involment in) ive heard can be a cesspool of "wut you dont like the sequel? must be dumb or toxic" kind of thing. ive been blocked by people when i (in a thread defending the last jedi) had something bad to say about almighty rose. plus theyll lable u with ist phobes and as a nazi etc. plus usually when someone makes an opinion piece on why they dont like it theyre just quick to delegitimize/disregard it through the most superficial shallow things imaginable., granted i hate how haters act like the film was the equivalent to rian violently raping luke and mark while kathleen sat and watched and laughed tho. and ofc im still seeing dumb journos acting like only trolls hate this film and even going as far as to call its hate unfounded. i love the last jedi but the discourse around it really shows the internet was a mistake. u cant have a calm discussion about it without one side being a hyperbolic nut case acting like this is a political view or argument. rant over but god this fandom sux. edit: honestly the best way i can sum up the discourse is fanboys see detractors as neo nazi close minded bigots. and haters see enjoyers as literal flat earthers and fake fans

In hindsight, thanks to Rebels, the Maul game could've worked if Talon was his apprentice before Ezra and explain how he got stuck on Malachor. Also, maybe have Talon get stuck in stasis somehow with Darth Krayt freeing her in the future, hence why she's loyal to him? I'll have to read the Legacy comics again to see if they gave her a backstory... Also, thanks to the World Between Worlds, I really want to see more Star Wars alternate timelines/Infinites. One where Mace Windu succeeded in killing Palpatine and one where Luke accepted Vader's offer in Empire Strikes Back. Edit: A clone of Luke is a pretty interesting idea on paper, but the execution was iffy. Maybe change his name and have him be the one working with Thrawn from the get go instead of that Corus guy?

Man, Elite Squadron was my introduction to BF and I loved it. I always talked about X1 and X2 at lunch in elementary school, and was so sad that I was the only one who knew about this story. The gameplay was awesome too, I could destroy a Capital ship just by shooting at it long enough lol

This might sound like me going "ackshually" but the goofy "He lost the Star Wars" line in the script wouldn't have made it into the final film in any capacity. Screenwriters often tend to make goofy comments or gestures in the script as a bit of an in-joke, for lack of a better term. One of my favorite examples of this comes from Vincent Ward's scrapped Alien 3 script (The infamous Wooden Planet one), which reads as follows: "ARCEON Dwindles into the darkness behind her, a smouldering, slowly dying ember... THE SCREEN GOES BLACK END CREDITS ROLL... Teenager in the back of the movie theater shouts, "It's in the dog!""

Final tier: "losing the will to live", aka: Broken Heart Syndrome, a legit medical condition where severe emotional trauma can weaken the heart enough to kill you. Still think it was a weak way to explain her death? Droids aren't going to understand that, my guy and truth is often stranger than fiction. People really need to be more aware of this condition. It's logical, it's realistic, and it explains Padme's demise pretty well when you look at HOW she ended up that way. What do I think? Why not both? Padme had her heart broken by Anakin's betrayal, she was injured by him, and she was pregnant on top of THAT, never mind being near-term at the time. One kid is rough on the female body. Imagine it with twins. No wonder she passed. Palpatine probably took whatever lifeforce was still left in her and sped up the process.

I don’t like the acting, the CGI, the writing and a lot of the action. I think a lot of the lightsaber duels from the prequels are overrated. I like the ideas of the prequels and love the era. I just wish the writing and acting were a lot better. Also outside of Dooku and Palpatine, I don’t think the villains are all that great. Maul’s my second favorite SW character but only for his roles in Clone Wars and Rebels. I think he’s very boring in TPM. Grievous is cool in ROTS but he has far too little screen time. Meanwhile I love most of the characters from the ST, love most of the fights, writing and themes. Also think the CG is far more consistent and the villains are all great even if I’m still not super big on Palpatine coming back. Music from both trilogies are insanely good tho

@@Pig3636 Fair. I'll be honest, I adore everything about the Prequels. I think it's peak Star Wars. Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith are my second and most favourite Star Wars films respectively. And I've only watched half of Season 1 of Clone Wars, so I'm not part of the 'the Prequels are made good by the Prequels' crowd. I think they're perfectly fine as is. The Sequel Trilogy meanwhile, a lot of its good aspects are for me overshadowed by its issues; . The Force Awakens is fine but it's objectively the most safe and generic thing they could've made. Starkiller Base is just a Death Star made out of a planet, the Resistance is just the Rebels again (with X-Wings again, Y-Wings again, A-Wings again etc), The First Order is just the Empire again but shinier and sleeker (with Stormtroopers again, TIE Fighters/Bombers again, AT-ATs again, AT-STs again etc)... Like come on some original stuff please. Also compared to the Original Trilogy and ESPECIALLY the Prequel Trilogy the world building is nonexistent (it sorta is throughout the entire Sequel Trilogy but ESPECIALLY here given The Force Awakens is set 30 years after Return of the Jedi SOME would've gone a long way), especially as I'm someone who just adores that stuff. It gets points for being the only film where Finn gets anywhere close to reaching his potential though. . The Last Jedi is my fourth favourite Star Wars film. It's a gorgeous, deep, thought provoking film that's brave as fuck and (major hottake) has my favourite performance from Hamill as Luke, and is hurt only by how it's kinda fucked as the middle chapter of a Trilogy. . You know my thoughts on Rise of Shitwalker already I think. 😂😂😂 Also you mentioned the music, I think that the Sequel Trilogy music is kinda bland. The Original Trilogy's music is more iconic and the Prequel Trilogy's music is even more iconic than the Original Trilogy's stuff (to me anyway).

@@tritonk1759 I agree it needed more world building but thankfully novels, comics and shows will be giving us that in the future. As for ships mainly being the same I agree they should've done some different things (though I think the AT-M6 and FO TIE Bombers are fairly well designed and new. Same with the Bunkerbuster, Resistance bombers and Supremacy.) As for the music, I agree it's the weakest of the three trilogies but it still has some bangers. Rey's theme, Battle of Crait, The Jedi Steps and Finale, Ahch-To Island, The Spark, Anthem of Evil, Approaching the Throne and Farewell. I reccomend giving those tracks in particular a chance. They're really good

I will say that Kylo's theme and the Resistance theme both slap. I also really like the Throne Room fight theme, mostly I will confess because that sequence is just amazing. Yes it's got problems but I don't really care it's just so big and spectacular. Also I'll agree on for example the Resistance Bombers. The Last Jedi also gave us the First Order Dreadnought and Gorilla-esque AT-ATs. Rian Johnson seemed to actually try to give us some new stuff.

@@tritonk1759 honestly tfa isn't that safe only thing safe is explaining the force and that's that lol. starkiller base is like the death star in one quality and that's that like its laser is far more powerful and destructive and can be split and go through hyperspace. the first order isn't really the empire since they don't control the galaxy and they ceterinatly are a type of imperial remnant even tho people don't like saying that for the first order when it is technically tho. the only thing they got as the empire is look and is a successor state but thats it. they more connected to the darkside/sith more than the empire in Ogrins. The resistance isn't like a carbon copy of the rebels because the rebels were fighting a power that controlled the whole galaxy. They also were just more of a fringe group. I would say there more original stuff in the movie especially with rey and the new force powers. Also, saying that starkiller base, first order, resistance makes this film not original and say that needed to is fine opinion but it's really unfair in way. Honestly there is enough worldbuilding there and we have the other worldbuilding from the other films so i would say thats a little unfair, I do wish we saw the new separatist's union. Like for example the first odrder and how there were some much foreshadowed especially to snokes death that's worldbuilding. some this just seems unfair

I'd say the 2017 Darth Vader comic run is a good place to start. Then move to either the 2015 Star Wars run or the 2015 Darth Vader run. After that you can go wherever you want. If we're talking legends that's way harder to answer. I'd start with the Republic comic series (which goes for 83 issues) then the on shot Star Wars: Purge then Dark Times (which goes for 32 issues). As for Old Republic stuff I have no idea lol
