The Starfire 862 stroker hits the dyno!

What was supposed to be a simple trip quickly turned into a bit of a uneasy experience! Luckily we kept the sleds and were still able to get on the dyno, but we lost a lot of time and had to cut loose early. Anyone have good lock recommendations!?

Actually not bad for a break in! Glad to see someone actually getting a real Dyno tune on their machine. Loving the 862 call outs on the sled, can’t wait for your thoughts on it next winter.👍

Have heard so many nightmare stories of sleds trailers getting robbed in Canada

Same here, they took a friend's truck, trailer, and dog in backseat in front of his families house. He was parked in road, they went inside to see everyone and came out 15-20min later and the whole set up was gone. They did get dog back, found it 2 days later wondering around area couple mi away. They say it doesn't happen like it use to yrs ago, that's BS it's still bad, they just better at it now

It's definitely got a distinct sound to it! Some of it may be the modified stock muffler, but the 650 didn't sound anything like this with the same muffler so there's something to the engine itself!

if you had the master 6127, that is the strongest padlock or the 6327, but with battery tools not much out there cannot be cut. unless the round puck locks if they fit , no schackle on those

I've heard it a lot too, it's definitely not as bad as it used to be (allegedly), but it do still be happening sadly

My mother in law got here window smashed and a new empty purse was stolen that was in the back seat had to have seen it through the privacy glass while in Canada

I am canadian and this country has gone to shit so bad. The leadership here is going out of its way to make sure of it. Nothing to be proud of any more. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I feel your pain, it's happening everywhere unfortunately. Burlington VT used to be amazing, now I'll hardly venture down there.

That's a good thought too. They did leave the breaker bar/sockets and stuff I keep for changing the trailer spare wheel/tire though which I was surprised to see.

Sleds being stolen in Canada is exaggerated, just some local dirtbags from the outskirts of the town. ATV'rs for sure that will enjoy a greasy helmet.

Crime happens everywhere -- on both sides of the border. Sorry for the bad luck, and that's what it was just bad luck. I live in Ontario and 20 years ago someone tried to break into my car. That's it for 20 years. Sledding and trailering all over Ontario and nothing has every happened. Just bad luck. Obviously not sledders judging by what they took. Lol.

Agreed! Honestly with all the travel I do summer/winter, I'm surprised this was/is the first incident I've had. Thankful all they got was the helmet!
