I find it very hypocritical of Sansa to criticise Davos considering she took Brienne as guard who failed to protect Renly and Catelyn, but I know none of that was her fault because there was nothing she could have done to save them. No better than Davos could have done to impeach Stannis' misfortunes because Davos was an advisor, he ADVISES, but Stannis had his own mind and his own choices.

I liked the parallel of John saying they’ll fight despite the troubling odds, just like Stannis said they’ll go forward despite his troubling odds when he was at the same encampment. And just like Stannis, John lost to the Bolton’s until The Vale showed up.

Sansa evolving into a tactical mastermind with the cunning of Littlefinger, the staunch wisdom of her father and the compassion of her mother is a great idea. It's a pity that apparently the only way to convey her intelligence and potential is to have her generate an incompetence field that makes everyone in her immediate presence dumb, short-sighted and poorly written.

If she just fucking told him about the Vale they'd have enough supplies brought to siege for a few months and that's plenty of time to back Wun Wun up as he shoulder charges the gate. I'd have kept him hidden and then in the middle of the night just sent him running in. They could have even nailed heaps of wooden boards together for a shield. Once he destroyed the gates, he could retreat and the rest of the men could charge in. If it was done shortly before first light they wouldn't have to fight at night time either.

In retrospect jon had some other choices he could have done send a few hundred to the houses allied with the Bolton's and take over their castles. Considering that most wildlings are very good climbers they could have snuck into the castles taking out the light amount of guards. I'm sure the karstarks and umbers knowing their castles and family have been taken over might turn on Ramsey to save their families. Obviously we know John wouldn't hurt their youngest family members but they don't know that.

If sansa would have called knights of Vale earlier, then probably more northerner houses would have committed to their cause, because they would look winning side, Most of the northerners were afraid of Boltons. Didn't liked them.

I love how the Northern house soldiers and the Wildlings beat each other up, then the Southerner comes and the Northerners immediately come to terms.

They easily could have substituted the Manderlys in place of the Knights of the Vale, it would've made more sense since they had already sent a raven to White Harbor, and that was before they got to Deepwood Motte, the Manderlys heavy calvary would have had plenty of time to get there in a logical amount of time and have the men to even the odds anyways, and even if the show claimed the Manderlys sided with the Boltons, just use the books as source for why they would prove false at the last second

This is why I could never like Sansa completely. She went through a landslide of suffering but doesn't consider that everyone has as well. She at least had the comfort of being in a palace and luxury when all of this was happening while everyone suffered and fought for their lives everyday, yet she thinks she knows better and was more entitled to her suffering while they weren't.

Scenes like this convince me that Jon and Sansa will be at odds next season. Even if I wish that they form a united front for the sake of reuniting their family, the writers have already taken the position that they will argue & bicker. So we'll have more bickering in season 7, and Littlefinger turning Sansa's head....instead of her and Jon working together.
