Usain Bolt ran the 2nd leg for Jamaica. He took Jamaica from 4th to 1st with a 45.35 split. He is the only person in the race that is 6 ft 5.

A week or 2 ago Michael Norman ran an open 45.19 400m, and ran a 44.9 split anchor leg, and he's just a Junior 17 years old like Usain in this video. he's gonna get big I'm calling it.

Austen Lane he's good too but Michael ran a legal 20.24 in the Nationals as 17 year old as well. Both his 200/400 are equally Phenomenal.

I would like to see him at least attempt the 400m after Rio. Drop the 100, and focus on 200/400, or 400 only.
@VexcellionAnimations

Van Der he already said in multiple interviews that he dropped the 400m because the training was too hard in addition to it being a flat out painful race, he's aging too so doing the 400m would not be ideal or comfortable for him at all anymore.

I have no doubt that Michael Johnson is the best quarter miler around. The fact that many pundits of Track and Field believed the 200M would stay around for their lifetime and it was broken twice by bolt at 21 and 22. He was a better quarter miler than a 100M runner and there are still many people in Jamaica, including his coach who believes he is still a better 400M metre runner than a 200M. Bolt himself said, it takes too much to train for a 400M.

Listen for the name Aldrich Bailey, this kid is gonna be a BAAAAD man! He could potentially make the US Olympic team in the 400 or 4x400 relay pool if he's not been too worn out from a long season and can make it through the rounds in Eugene.

UB is insane! So These are anchor legs. Well that's goof news for my boy who at 17yrs 7 mos. ran a 45.56 anchor verified by the trackside timer at California's CIF SS Masters race. And at the CIF CA State Finals the next week ran a 45.54. State finals program had a write up too. A few weeks earlier the OC Register's Varsity Section reported a 45.8 in one of his races. Not quite 3 yrs of track and field so far. PrepCalTrack's editor nicknamed him The Beast....cause he runs everyone down when he needs to. He's still learning how to run the 400. His slow first 200 is nearly identical in time as his 2nd 200, so when he figures out he needs to run under 22 in the 1st 200 then perhaps Olympian Bryshon Nellum's California State Record may fall.
