Great talk. The comments about staying in Afghanistan forever because it wouldn’t cost that much is ridiculous & ignores the fact that it’s a sovereign country that must ultimately take responsibility for itself & its citizens. Moreover, “forever foreign occupation” breeds ill will & creates “forever enemies” (i.e., terrorists).
