+Luis Domingos This is based on the lyrics published with their album. They say it's "can," but I won't argue that artists sometimes change words or even a bit of the melody every time they perform. I saw The Staves recently and heard a very different version of Facing West, so it's possible that in another recording they say "could." Point is, these are the official lyrics according to The Staves themselves.
