This is the first song I heard by these ladies, just a day ago on a Delta flight. To me, this entire composition personifies the non-complexity and true beauty of real music. I've been listening non-stop to this and others of their work. I'm definitely loving what I've been hearing.

It's amazing how the three different suicidal stories and the three different voices interact. Each voice building up until they are all connect in that amazing chorus. Just like in the video, the smoke and the oranges enter the other stories... I was in love with this song from the very first time I listened to it. After watching the video, it feels even better.

If I hazard a guess, I'd say the song is about loss. The poor lady has lost her partner. Now she doesn't know what to do now he's passed away. She is trying to cope with the depression but is slowly becoming more destructive. She is alone and no one is there to comfort her. She's losing her mind and does not know what to do. That's my two cents.

Donhaye Maybe it's about three women who all shared the same partner. Maybe that partner gets killed by one of the women he was cheating with, "and the line will read that I was never here" - they will never be recognised as his partner. I don't know, I'm winging it lol.
