Sooo, I guess the answer is... He should have let WR get the positive yard completion and then touched him to make sure he was down by contact. I wonder how many OC's would make plays for guaranteed yards by telling their WR's to stretch out to make sure they don't get hit or get a guaranteed penalty for a first down and suspending a key defensive player. Hmm...🤔🙄

Seems to me this Offense is so young and doesn't have a strong Leadership. Offense needs the Pat Peterson, Minkha, Cam Heyward and TJ Watt Leadership Core. The Defense has been strong but Injuries are decimating the Ranks.

They have taken the spirit and purpose of that rule and turned into something else. It was to eliminate the hits to the head like harrison and burfitct did. Now actual football plays are getting penzlized. There was nothing dirty about it and the announcer of that game was way over the top with his commentary on it. Trying to make me see something that did not happen.

⁠Please don’t try to compare Tomlin to Cowher. That dog won’t hunt. Cowher’s record in the post season when it counts was 12-9. Tomlins record is 8-9. And to put the nail in the coffin James Harrison who played for both coaches said himself that Cowher was the better coach. Nuff said! The defense rests!

I sad that as soon as kenny got hurt how many pics we gonna see by mitch. 3 games should of won in a row. Steelers lack leadership especially on offense. It's sad why does Tomlin not bring back old players who got coaching jobs at other places to help coach these young guys. Even just a presence of a Hines ward on the sideline. Cowher on mcafee show said it great.

A big part of that "September Football in December" situation is injuries. The "Next man up" mentality can only go so far. There's a reason guys don't get a helmet or are on the practice squad: They aren't good enough. So the defense is depleted with second stringers and others who wouldn't be on the field are being given a helmet and asked to fill in for Minkah, Holcomb, and others? It doesn't add up to having a winning team.

DJ too. Mason made multiple game winning plays that the receivers fumbled because it was a monsoon. And that same game, Mason had a 30yd run and trucked a guy and was flexing. He played well but the weather killed them. And he didn’t know til the night before he was playing! In Mason we Trust!

Great that BMac is trying to get something going from outside. It is also something surprising for me that no one inside that locker room hasn't tried to get everyone together and pulling as a team. No wonder things are looking so grim but if that hasn't happened as Mike T said things need to be different and someone from that locker room needs to step up and call up people inside that players only, waiting to happen, meeting and get things out, and get people accountable. Players needs to understand that they need to look at themselves first and after see how can they help their fellow teammates to get better.

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer had very shiny nose and if you ever saw it you would say it glow's. All the other QB used to laugh and call him names they wouldn't let poor Rudolph join in any games. Then one foggy Christmas Eve Tomlin came to say Rudolph with your arm so strong can you guide my offense tonight then how the Steelers loved him as they shouted out with glee Rudolph the red nosed reindeer you go down in history

And they need to hear from a Vet. Like Ben said grab someone by the face mask and make it known what is expected. The standard should be excellence in everything they do and if someone isnt seeking perfection and playing at 100% every play they aint holding up the Standard

U guys are asking too much of the defense. The scales are tipping. I understand in a perfect world u want it to be 50/50. But u r always gonna have one side better than the other so maybe 60/40 or 65/35. But right now it seems as if its 85/15 and i don't care if u have the 1975 Steelers defense out there.
