This is a home I often dream about owning, although it's a far cry from what I can afford! I believe the saying goes... "If you're going to dream, dream BIG!" Well, that's exactly what this is. This is an exquisite home, in an superb community just outside of New York. If I were one day given the opportunity to move into a home to remain in for life, this would be it.. hands down. I'm sure there are a great deal of opinions regarding the feasibility of owning this, but dreams are just that. It's been built, so someone has to live in it right? Why shouldn't it be me and my family??

Unlike so many of the ginormous monstrosities available to view on KZfaq, this home actually shows balance, tasteful proportions and well blended design features throughout. It doesn't appear gaudy or tacky to me. I wonder when this was built. Thank you for sharing it with us! I will say, maybe there's a second spa, since the one at the pool seems so far from the residence.

We're holding you to that. But I'm not sure if I can afford the wine I'd have to bring. I mean one can't just walk in with a bottle of Blue Nun or cold duck, has to be on par with chateau lafite at the very least. I guess flowers and chocolates or petite fours are a possibility? Make it afternoon tea I'm feeling out classed.

Darius Benson i dream of owning houses like this all the time. i really believe i will have a house like this one day( when i hit the lottery lol). even though to tell you the truth, this house ( as beautiful as it is ) is not the kind of house i would move in to if i were to hit big.if you want to know what kind of house i would purchase go to www.luxuryhomes.com. then go to Las Vegas Nevada and see some really beautiful homes. keep dreaming big and you'll hit big too.

This truly is A Magnificent Mansion and Home. I have been recently looking at Mansions, and this one was the most beautiful and uniquely impressive that I have seen so far. I loved the Grapes and Leaves detail. Along with the Marble and Hardwood contrasts. It truly was very very well planned and thought out with just what the owner or architect wanted to display. *****+

This a gorgeous house with exquisite architectural features and these features command a very important budget so you can do justice with the setting. You need exquisite furniture of the highest quality, fabulous fabrics, window treatments of the highest quality. In short to do justice to that setting, you need to have good taste in picking up the right pieces to highlight every room. This house is quite a project to bring it to life but with a budget, time and taste, it would be a fascinating project that I would undergo having the means and the time.

It's nice to see exquisite homes but it's not what I want for myself, I see myself cozy in a cottage style home with a big fireplace and chef's kitchen. A large craft room, big enough to have all my friends over at once. Even if I were mega rich and could have the most expensive home I would prefer a smaller house that is just enough.

It's big and stately but for me...I watch way too many scary movies to be able to live there. Hell, I could not even visit this place after dark. Noooo way. Too spooky. But having said that it's an amazing place for sure.

And here we are, 2020. It’s still for sale and the price dropped to 32 million. No one that can afford it wants it I guess. The house is absolutely amazing, it will be a total trip to live there. But with all the maintenance and staff that you would need for upkeep on this place, seems like you would just be living with a bunch of strangers all the time. Not worth it to me, but I’m not a very neighborly person anyway LOL. Nor am I rich so I guess this, it’s pretty irrelevant. If you excuse me, I need to go clean my bathroom now

I totally support your dream... in theory, nothing legally binding, but absolutely! This is a beautiful mansion. I usually find these mega mansions tacky because they're new pretending to be old European, however this one has the right patina. I didn't catch how old it is? We'll be expecting house warming invites all around? Speaking of house warming? The dream of owning it is nothing compared to what it takes to heat it. Dream bigger? It might not require too much cooling in the summer. All the stone and trees surrounding might be great for keeping it cool in the summer.

One of the most pertinent comments, I share your vision on the right patina. I know the genre, I'm French and I've lived in France all my life. But the space, the foliage, the possibilities with the outdoors, it makes me dream despite my age and proven poverty. The interior, much less so, despite the success you mentioned, is 1,000,000 euros and paysafer maintenance per year for heating, not to mention the exorbitant NJ state taxes, and let's not forget the staff. the last straw is that the owners have never lived there. Madame (the super bourgeois) preferred Miami, that's the reason given. We should investigate and find out the names of the original owners who were asking 68,000,000 in 2013. Apparently sold very recently for half that. Conclusion, in terms of land, it's the best landscape and the best depth compared to those rich houses that have 1000 m2 of land sometimes in the 3B(berverly hills, brentwood and the famous bel air). The only depths of land that could compete are the opulent houses of bel air built in the 70s and 80s, but they'll never be shown on youtube or at Enes Ylmazer. the cnbc video if you haven't seen it. What's so bad about New Jersey? New Jersey also have many beautiful places and houses as well. I am from New Jersey, saying with pride and stick with my New Jersey roots. Phantom_Knight hold on here boy....I’m FROM NJ! 😂😂😂Sitting right here in Monmouth County. He made a mistake building THAT house in New Jersey. A house like that should be on at least 30 acres. It belongs in either Westchester county New York or Connecticut. If he had built it anywhere else, it would’ve sold by now.
