I love this story of Handle's Messiah, thank you Jeffrey Thomas, I love the last words from Handle and I wish he would know how blessed I have been singing to the Messiah together with this wonderful choir that you direct. It is so uplifting to sing and to meditate in all the lyrics, and also I like to look at the faces of the singers how they express the emotions. Sincerely I think this is the best performance of the greatest music compositions of all time, and I have watched several. My heartfelt thanks, from Chile a distant land where I have been so blessed by listening to this eternal sample of heaven's music.

Thank you for this interesting and informative history. I have just discovered your recording of the Foundling Hospital version of Messiah, and your channel, and I am more than delighted! It has now become my favourite recording of this work. The American Bach Choir and Soloists make a combined band of just the right size and the period instruments are perfect. As a conductor, you are a delight to watch. I have sung under many different conductors and not many have such grace of movement that encourages the choir members to keep their eyes fixed on the conductor! The results speak for themselves and your performance of Messiah is the perfect result. I am looking forward to exploring your other recordings.Very many congratulations to you, and thank you so much for bringing this blessing into my life.
