I'm 74 and a being of student-run college radio in the US midwest in the late 1960s. I've heard it all when it comes to the '60's music. The Seekers weren't especially on my radar other than "Georgie Girl". However, as a retiree replaying music, I fell in love with a lot of their music, including "Another You". Early in Summer 2022 I scoured KZfaq for everything I could find on them, especially Judith Durham. There was something truly magical about her voice and smile. The news of August was personally truly devastating to me. And then her death was dramatically overshadowed by the loss of Olivia Newton-John a mere 3 or 4 days later. Judith Durham and her beautiful voice and talent were truly a gift to mankind. The beauty of her voice and music live on in accompaniment with the 3 gentlemen as she rests in peace. May her memory be for a blessing.

This song is one of those that gives me goosebumps and a tear in my eye. Now that Judith has gone to sing lead with a choir of angels there are more tears for i know there will never be another Judith. Her voice was just wonderful and what a beautiful person she was too. How lucky we are to still be able to listen to her voice. RIP Judith. x

There will never be another group like the Seekers. Never. More than 50 years and am still searching for a group that can bring you as much joy as listening to the Seekers does. I first heard them when I was in school around 1967/68 and even today I can’t help but bow to them for the joy and happiness they have brought me

My favourite band. I’m only 37 but loved them from childhood as mum was a fan. I saw every concert from 1993 to 2013 except one tour they did In about 2001 I think it was. I cried for 3 days when Judith passed recently, to me it was the equivalent of people losing Elvis or John Lennon. She has an absolutely beautiful voice!

Judith is in a league of her own. Her voice is as strong as ever, and she hits the notes like she did when she was young. The boys are still charming, and they play the instruments and provide backup vocals to judith like it was in the 60s. Pure talent.

I am in my 60s and I just discovered this angelic voice.not too long ago. Memories of a trip I made long ago to land down under . Reminders of my late mom. How many times I played and replayed this song. What an uplift during the Covid era. And the news of her passage. Such a late discovery on my part and such a rapid departure. RIP as you gave meaning to this song to me, my late mom, a sweet heart long since moving on with her life but present in my heart. There will certainly never be another you.

What else is there to say about the Seekers, and Judith Durham. Her Angelic voice and their beautiful harmony, makes them truly unforgettable. The next few hundred comments all together even have a hard time saying what it was about the Seekers that touched so many of our hearts and souls so deeply. My wife (Chow Girl) and I, each on our third try at marriage, chose this song as our wedding song, at a Sandals Resort in Jamaica. We danced in the sand, by the sea, to this song, and with the Seeker's, we sang this song out loud to each other as we danced, as the finale to our wedding. This was in June of 2005. There were people all around, as we danced to "our song", as it played out loudly near the heart of the resort. There were only half a dozen in our wedding party, and yet dozens of people who heard the song playing were drawn to our "song and dance", and gave us a standing ovation" at the end. It was absolutely surreal. And it wasn't so much us - it was this song, and people hearing and seeing us sing it to each other as our wedding "vows", so to speak, that drew all those people. The Sandals Resort even added this song to their repertoire of wedding songs that they would offer for their "Wedding-Moon" vacations. This song, and the Seekers, will live forever in the hearts of millions of people around the world. We have never even looked for "another you". We were 44 and "over 55" back then. We are still very happily married, and we still sing this song to each other, as we dance to it on our pool deck, on many a summer evening, numerous times every year.

I remember being a ‘car headlamp flasher’ to Radio Caroline - with my girlfriend Sue. 53 years of marriage on she is in a Carehome with advanced dementia. I play her this song and sing along, her face comes to life and I get a loving smile of recognition, she holds my PPE gloved hand and beats time - which makes my life... Thank you Seekers!! Frank (Since posting my message I’m very sad to say that my dear Susie died from a chest infection in November 2021. I was with her as she went - and THE song was sung…. Our youngest daughter put a video projection together for the well-attended funeral and (needless to say) the sound track was …”I’ll never find another you”.) Thanks for your many kind comments! Today I learn Judith Durham has died…. The song so true of her as well my Sue. May she rest in peace - and sing again!

Absolutely! Moves me every time as well! The purest voice I've ever heard in Judith, like a long, warm, hug!

I agree completely. It was one of my Mum's favourite songs..wed6often sing it late after dinner back in the early 70s.🥰

There are few songs that bring you right back to the 60’s like this Seekers’ song, and Georgie Girl. As soon as you hear Judith’s first note you’re back there again. RIP dear girl. I hope you realized the gift you gave us all.

I've been listening to this song for 50+ years. Their sound is so special, so unique and so lovely. It actually makes my eyes water that this song is so amazing that, after all these years, it can still move me, emotionally, as much as it does. I don't just hear with with my brain. I hear it with my soul. Thank you, Seekers.

It is a song about that one person we all long to spend the rest of our lives with. If it does not move you every time, it is because you have a callous heart. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard comments almost identical to yours. We are all lucky to have been here to experience the Seekers.

Judy's voice is impeccable and beautiful. She resounds like 2 voices in one and has not changed at all. Wow!

I was a 14 year old when this song came out. Loved then. Love it still. I have it on my iPhone and have probably listened to it a thousand times while I take my morning walks. It keeps me young.

This song is pure magic. And to see this group sing it the same way, in the same key, same tempo, and with the same instrumentation throughout the decades as they age, is incredibly beautiful! Times change, things change, the recording and video equipment evolve, people age, and yet through it all the music rings true. The music that binds them together!
