We've been busy trying to rebuild Keeper Tyr, restore his memories and get the aspects powers back. TIme to rebuild the tyr's guard and move on with the mission!

I get they are trying to reiterate the titan aspect into the order universal category...I get it. But holy cow like Nobbel said nobody talks this way.

Interesting Hadwin is a Paladin and you can't normally be a Pali as a Kul Tiran. Wonder if it's a sign of things to come in the future for Kul Tiran race.

It is almost 100% a sign of things to come - good catch! They have been on the path of reducing class restrictions already (like the more recent Warlocks), so it is just a matter of time until Paladins become available to more races.

Also, the feature trailer for the patch contains a Kul Tiran paladin. So pretty much confirmed.

I find it slightly annoying when I'm playing on my paladin and wielding the holy/prot artifact weapons and using the highlord title, there's no additional dialogue. like, I'm going through this effort to use a very weak weapon and I'm getting zero rp reward for it??? why???

Hi Nobbel, have you ever come across any video showing the conversation between Azshara and Sylvanas during the N'zoth boss fight? Wowhead only has the voicelines but not the scene.

Nolaki mentions Ra'wani Kanae as her mentor back in Zuldazar, and refers to her as "our Champion of the Light." This is asinine and indicative of the quest-designer skimming through lore to push out the product, since "Champion of the Light" is the name of the OUT OF UNIVERSE name for the BOSS ENCOUNTER, where you either face Ra'wani as the Alliance or the Dark Iron Paladin as the Horde. These are two races with wildly different methods of worshipping "The Light" -- I don't think the power the Zandalari Prelates was called as anything but the Light of the Loa or Rezan's Light before. Champion of the Light wasn't her official title, it was a name to encompass "paladin boss fight of X-race." The way she's the most Alliance blue-pilled, "honor and justice and humanism for all" at the end of this quest makes me wonder why they bothered including a Zandalari to begin with. For those who say that no race is a monolith, consider the following: when you start emphasizing how, really, the people's of Azeroth are all the same in the end, you dilute the appeal of those races had to begin with.

Because it's the alliance who has to pab out their aesthetic to every other race undwr the sun. And im sure trolls will be joining the elves blood guard som time soon to. I don't care for horde races wielding the light unless they filter it out to getting their piwer from something like "the great ancestor. They also should change the names for all the moves. Thiet attack names need to sound metal and cool af

This feels... wrong. Tyr is NOT a neutral hero. His sacrifice was what allowed the Human civilization to take roots and ultimately flourish. He is a figure whose heroism is deeply anchored in the Human mythos specifically-Tyr as a subject of faith and reverence only makes sense within the Human cultural framework. Why would a Zandalari care that he saved the Vrykuls' ass ? Why would a LF Draenei ? A Sin'dorei ? Sure, you could argue that self-sacrifice may be valued in their respective cultures too, but surely these races, with their ancient and complex histories, have heroes of their own who embody this just as well and who they may identify with and turn to for moral guidance in a much more convincing and appealing way. This feels like yet another attempt at shoving the Human class fantasy down everyone's throat, just like they would've done when they added Orc Priests and Brother Zugzug, had the fans' backlash not compelled them to come up with class lore and fantasy that actually suit the Orcish culture (the Log'osh). Class fantasy in general is incredibly Alliance-centric (even worse since Legion with the Class Orders) and this is increasingly problematic

That's actually kind of the thing they're going with for the story now, when it's not a faction conflict: that individuals represent themselves and their own ideals and visions, rather than their race/culture. Suitable for the Warcraft universe? I don't know, but I can't knock the principle.

This story line has been prolonged well beyond my level of interest. We've been reforming Tyr for 9 months IRL, with 20 minutes of fresh gameplay and then nothing for months. I'm just not interested anymore.

seeing non-titan created races in tyr's guard just seems wrong. I know blizzard really wants to push diversity but still.

It's not as if the normal people of Azeroth know the difference. I will additionally point out that High Elves and humans can make a baby together, so there can't be some fundamental difference. Humans are the descendents of vrykul: a titan created race. Elves are descended from trolls, not a titan-created race as far as we know. However, that difference seems to have been erased at this point given their ability to hybridize. If indeed there ever was a difference. If Azeroth is a titan, then races native to Azeroth are arguably also titan-created races. Similarly, draenei would also be a titan-created race. In any case, I would not read this as Blizzard pushing anything. That kind of thinking leads only to cringe. These people were chosen by Travard and Koranos, and they have a particular viewpoint. Their priority was clearly choosing people who embodied the virtues they think Tyr valued. Given Koranos is an agent of the Titans, he must have brought up this point when they were choosing the candidates. However, they both evidently decided that it didn't matter. We will see what Tyr thinks of their decisions when he is back (there is plenty of evidence already to suggest he won't be pleased). But again, these are character decisions. WoW is not an allegory for the real world. Don't try to extrapolate Blizzard's politics from WoW quests, that inevitably leads to cringe nonsense.
