13th of December was the anniversary of the introduction of the Martial Law in Poland, when Soviet-controlled Polish government went into state of war with its own citizens, crushing the protest held all around the country with military force, introducing curfews, imprisoning and killing people.
But these are not the only communist crimes in Poland. I have visited a prison on Rakowiecka street, where thousands of Poles were murdered since the end of World War II.
I was shown around the Rakowiecka prison by Jarosław Wróblewski - author of Witold Pilecki’s biography.
