Why is it that all cool characters in warcraft universe get corrupted or possessed, and suddenly they become evil and they get real stupid death or just disappear.

Basically, Med'an is one of the most disgusting Mary-Sue characters ever created. It's like he was written by an anime obsessed 12 year old. A part Orc, Draenei and Human, Shamanistic Paladin-Mage Monk that instantly becomes an expert in anything he dabbles in, grew up in solitude knowing nothing of his parents. It's as if his creator just took the first thing from the Mary-Sue generator and said, "Yeah, that'll do." All he needs to be the most ridiculous character ever is spiky, purple hair and glowing eyes and-.... Oh wait. -_-

The Guardian really reminds me of the Avatar from Avatar: The last Airbender

Hey Nobbel, Love the videos you've been making, I have another question for the Q&A. Do you think since Garrosh isn't going to be the patch boss again, that it could be Wrathion? We know that he has alot of power now after the quest line and the titan artifacts. We also know that they said it would be "A guy behind a guy" where Wrathion pops in because he keeps setting things up in place for one side to lose (ie Garrosh or Varian) and apparently neither won. With all this said, do you think that I have even come to hint at anything at all about the next patch boss?

I hate it when people make a over powerful characters, not even that, I hate the invincible characters that what ever they do they will take out everyone with no problem. Medan just seems like a crazy fanfiction character some one came up with.

Why are people so butthurt over the video? It is just the Guardian videos packaged into one so a new viewer doesn't have to go hunting for the rest of the series and it provides a seamless transition between parts.

For some reason, I thought Dalaran was built mostly just because Strom had become too densely populated and it was part of that whole migration thing that included the building of Gilneas and Kul Tiras and such.

they could have still acknowledge that me'dan learned his father's wishes and he just give the power back to all the council but reminding everyone to stay united against all odds. I dont know, they could pull off me'dan in the story but again, they're always free to retcon or make it noncanon

I honestly think that Me'dan will follow his fathers footsteps. I have a feeling that as Medivh explained his story to his son he also noted how he taught Mortals to that they no longer need Guardians. I don't think the will be left unchecked by Me'dan. I believe he will honor his fathers approach and not step in to protect Azeroth. Perhaps he will teach this to different planets.

Nobbel, may be Medivh granted his powers to his son, knowing he was going to other Realities and would need them to protect them from events happening them, fighting Cho'Gal being just a way to practice them. That is as you say that he is gone to other worlds. Probably fixing things and avoiding events his father and grandmother like Entities, would create?

43:40 - Ah, I love that bit right there. It shows how the scripting in the game made character 's being cut off mid-sentance convincing. -- Very much unlike the 10 seconds pauses they have in the scripted WoW dialouge.

They never fully outright state what has happened to Medivh, all we know is once WC3 was done he vanished. We see his spirit and power later on but that is in the tower so we do not know for sure if he is dead.

I actually think Me'dan will have something to do with wrathion when the legion comes

Me'dan is gone, that might hint at some sort of explanation to why Khadgar looks a lot younger and why he has A'tiesh

what if Wrathion turns on the world for whatever reason and bam, in comes Medan to stop him at the end of an upcoming expansion? That was my first thought after finishing the video. Great stuff by the way.

It would actually be awesome if they brought medan back into the story when the finale battle against the burning legion takes place. An epic battle with medan vs. The Lord of the legion would be crazy exciting!

What if because Medivh was corrupted by Sargarus when he fathered Med'an, Med'an got some of this corruption passed on to him as well, and Sargarus is just waiting for the perfect moment to take over the guardian and destroy Azeroth?

Illidan is the new me'dan. We need Medivh back simply because his voice is great.

Crazy theory time. Med'an goes on for years not knowing what to do with his power, but has seen how powerful the old gods are and is still aware of the burning legion's future attack. After seeing the Cataclysm drive the world apart, he decides to carry on his father's mission to unite the world against the coming darkness, but doesn't truly understand the wisdom in working with many. Rather, he wants the power of many united behind his cause. Driven by visions of the future and the legion, he disguises himself as a black dragon whelp and pursues his goals under the guise of Wrathion (who has issues concerning his father and somehow has seen visions of the future).

I think that story of thrall from begining to pandaria be4 new expension would be a nice idea :) I rlly want hear everything wht I know about him and information from cataclyzysm :P

I would like to see Medan make an appearance in game because these comics were so beautiful, I would like to see it made canon. But, before they introduce this character... Make sure people get to know Medan... This was a huge problem for Khadgar in WoD. A lot of people didn't know him because a lot of people don't follow lore outside of what they see in game. Maybe a large quest line that involves a few of the people included in his story, slowly revealing his story. Not an hour long worth of dialog and quest text, but a short tale that consists of the necessities. Something that can fit in a Lorewalker Cho storytime thing. 2. You don't need to nerf Medan. Sure, maybe he does seem pretty strong, but he's not all that. He couldn't even kill Cho'Gall, but we totally kicked his ass. A majority of his power game from the 'council' channeling through him, and he returned that power afterwards. But, it could totally be possible that Medan had died or something and had given his staff to Khadgar (which would need to be explained.) P.S Wow, I main a mage and all this talk about superpowered guardians make me feel insig-fucking-nificant... but then again, I did defeat Illidan.. killed Arthas... killed Deathwing... killed Garrosh... and Archimond... 3 times now?

i hope they will include the remnants of the well of eternity in the broken isles. Suramar seems like the place it could be but you never know, just seeing it in the video makes me wanna do the dungeon again. And hopefully theyll put a big storyline around it if they do decide to add it, other than "hey look theres that well thingy, OK TIME TO GO"
