Alan Wake in its story, setting, mood and everything is kinda like what you would get if Twin Peaks and The Twilight Zone had a baby. Serious yet cheeky, but also ingenious and mysterious. It's amazing.

Well this was a treat! Old Gods of Asgard are played by IRL band Poets of the Fall and they have been doing music for Remedy games since Max Payne 2 if I remember correctly.

Basically it's a serious game yeah. But every Remedy game has a moment/level that basically turns into a 1980's heavy metal concert.

Huge Alan Wake Fan and that’s how I was introduced to Poets of the Fall/Old Gods of Asgard - we waited 13 years for Alan Wake 2 and this section had me smiling till my face hurt! Great reaction, mate!

If you enjoyed this, you should check out more of The Old Gods of Azgard's songs that are also in Alan Wake II. Those are 'Dark Ocean Summoning' and 'Anger's Remorse'. Both songs are bangers and I constantly listen to them ever since I beat Alan Wake II back in December.

You NEED to play the games for any of this to make sense. A basic rundown is Alan is stuck in a nightmare dimension called The Dark Place and is using his artform of writing books to try and create a way to escape.

i would have liked TV show/movie part but knowing how Hollywood wants to make everything woke. they would ruin it and also remedy games are connected as in they have their own little universe with each game. TV show might not do justice
