Really liked the aesthetic appeal of Night Fae but went with Venthry myself as I felt my DH would fit in better there (plus I liked the moody dark atmosphere of the area) . Shadowlands is my first expansion in WOW and I have to say I've been loving the experience so far and your videos have been a large part in expanding my knowledge of the WOW universe and lore.

“Or a bubble does the trick as well.” Lol I found out that the void elf racial also works just as well, although I did get myself in trouble and got into a crypt with the VE racial that I wasn’t supposed to be in and started taking like 5% of my hp in dmg every second...had to do a deathwalk back.

I truly wonder if Lady Vashjj still serves Queen Azshara above all else. She conveniently joined the ONLY covenant that would allow her to retain her former self fully. I think that was done very intentionally as foreshadowing.

@@bcfc2947 Who's to say she didn't first go to Revendreth, and then get reassigned to Malraxxus? We simply don't know matter-o-factly. She could potentially have manipulated her own realm assignment, with/without Azshara's help. We don't know exactly what the Arbiter does as we have never seen her "judge" a soul. We are only told what she does and how, but without directly seeing it, well...you should know by now that the lore can change with additional information. It's unwise to assume things at this point, even if you think the lore is "established." We thought the Nathrezim were 100% Demons from the Twisting Nether, and now the new lore points to them being creations of Denathrius.

The commenter above me is correct. She may have been "read" by The Arbiter, as she died before everyone went to the Maw. She could've been reassigned from Revendreth after having her loyalty to Azshara relinquished. The Arbiter, to judge a soul, would know everything they've done, so it would also know your loyalties. Vashjj is done with Azshara. Otherwise she'd be in the Maw, or Revendreth still being tortured.

Huh if chapter 5 takes place after castle...um...are they still opposed to siding with the prince...against the Sire...whom is already dead?...so...? How’s that work??

While I agree with Nobbel that characters like the Harvester of Desire are great fun. I must disagree on almost everything else. While I did enjoy getting a second char through a covenant campaign, I would put Venthyr below Maldraxxus. With the Castle Nathria raid fitting in roughly halfway through the story it feels like your favorite TV show ended halfway through season 2. The biggest baddie of the zone isn’t taken out at the end but rather the middle, and even as a Maldraxxai I admit that Denathrius who has been in the Shadowlands for eons more than Kel’Thuzad should be far atronger. What’s more there isn’t even a breadcrumb quest in the campaign to take out the.sire, Kel’Thas just shows up if you never did the raid. Then there’s the zones themselves and Revendreth is a zone of missed opportunities. You meat Draven early on and my gut reaction based on name alone was when do I get to kill this mofo? You have to understand that I’ve played multiple games over the years, and Draven is a shitstain of a champion in League of Legends, a major misstep by the developers in terms of that games lore, and the mere association of sharing the name with such a terrible person was enough to make me hate him. It’s harsh but it is what it is. What’s more when I ran into the fearstalker during questing and my gut reaction to her was simply “I like you” and we know how that ended. Saving grace the fearstalker lives on in the armor I now fear, but just everything in Maldraxxus is freaking badddass. In short this campaign was fun, but it doesn’t hold a candle to Maldraxxus in my books.

They really need to stop making NPCs who are important 3x the size of the player character. Looking back on this, your first exposition dump from Renethal looks so silly considering you come up to his knees
