good to hear.Take your time as this is a very difficult area for a new company to enter. Its the software that is just as important and that is the challenge

I have the Playback Designs Edelweiss MPD-6 Dac w/streamer option. Beautiful sound and better than the Bel Canto e1X which I have owned. The e1X I had back 2020 when it first came out. It is a great all in one integrated and you are definitely correct about their app! Moved on to separates and wanted to get into streaming "heavily." Using a dedicated NUC for Roon and enjoying my music more. Great channel and enjoy it very much.

Thank you I still say due the synergy all in one box of the e1x is very hard to beat if not impossible at its price.Even the phono is reference level as I have had phono stages up to 12k and still feel content with this.Your comparing a dac streamer of much higher cost than this all in one..The next step up black ex is a beast. Its hard to compare as your talking separates.I just say the e1x is a stunning achievement with the flawless stable software and no afterthoughts just thrown in.As long as you enjoy its the main thing. One test I want you to perform tho is use the playback design software and remove the roon from the chain.I promise the sound is better with Roon gone as it adds uneeded etch and tips up top.Try it.I have asked many and they have reported back saying I was right.Roon is organization 1st and sound second

@@greatlookinglandscap I do agree with you on the e1x. I ran into a few problems with mine. Probably because I was a pioneer!;) I have heard similar complaints about Roon, but honestly, I think the actual stream is usually the problem than Roon itself. I have listened without Roon using another HD music player and that what I came away with.

Still impressed with innuos pulse mini. After your recommendation, i bought one and now my digital library never sounded better. Yesterday i got a chance to listen a new Peachtree audio Carina Gan, and it just blew me away. Amazing piece. The new Gan Fet technology doing something special. I'm very hard to impress after all the components i have or use to have but that piece is really something special.

Totally be patient.from experience don't buy the first streamer from any brand. Buy the second generation . That was my mistake being one of the first getting a streamer. Let them prove themselves first before buying your hard earned money.

absolutely. This being a streamer is a very difficult component to get right and perhaps the hardest market to enter.Companies need to spend more time before rushing to market.Software, software software.I stress that

You are right on Dave. Back in the mid 80's I was in Highschool and had the Adcom pre,amp and tuner setup with PSB 50r speakers , Rega P2 TT and the Dual(brand)3Head tape deck which had regular speed plus double speed. Back then my Dream system was Bryston or Hafler,Oracle TT,Nakamichi Dragon TD and Maggie's or Energy 's.Sorry I'm rambling on.
