whoa, I just looked at the prices for these. $600-650.00 usd! It's a nifty toy but holy cow. Big bucks! For that kind of money it needs to do a lot more than flatten clay. lol

I'd LOVE to have one of, I've broke two clay press/pasta rollers before finding out useing marble/weighted rolling pin till soft enough to be put in the machine works so well. But as awesome as this is the price point is still *way* too high. I make & sell my art for a living and use a *lot* of clays an apoxys in my art and this would be great to cut out work time. It would be a good investment peice, especially if it's as strong an durable as it looks. Some of the clay I love like cernit translucent clay bars can feel like a brick at first. But right now its just out if my price range...

I know this is an old video but does anyone know where you can get a good motor for this machine? Or any elephant machine? I want to buy the 2.0 but I need a motor. My shoulder is a mess. Can’t crank. Don’t want the extra clutter of having to attatch a drill. Any suggestions??

It may be the strongest, but can you take it apart and clean it? I want someone to make a clay machine that is not only durable but I'd like it to have at least 7 thickness settings. I'd like it to be portable and I'd like to be able to take it apart so that it can be cleaned.

It certainly flattens FAST, but is it also actually CONDITIONED with so few passes?? (And yes, your grandson is adorable & dud a great job!)
