The Quarry opening section has those "alternative quicktime" things too. I found this out when my little brother was playing it. During the first chase sequence, the character is meant to duck under and leap over branches and roots, but he kept failing the quick time, and she just runs face first into branches and face plants tripping over roots. After the sequence finished, he complained about how the quick time events were too hard. I asked how hard was it to press a direction. Turned out he was pressing the circle button and didn't even notice the arrows...

That skyrim feature is good though..... First of you will get a lot of stuff on the quest to get these gems, from shouts to unique weapons. You will also be introduced to a bunch of different questlines and even and up in places where you can sometimes overhear certain conversations. The effect itself is crazy good. It makes it so gems spawn in almost every possible container gems spawn in. Theres ALOT of missions that require you to clear dungeons of some kind and almost all of them are absolutely littered with urns. With this effect at least 90% of these urns will have jewels inside (often multiple and the rarity of them rises according to your level) making it so you do not need to even care about any other loot you would normally collect just to sell as you will easily make 3k+ in gold from every dungeon before you even start seing emeralds.

that pokemon battle in smash i may have done that we specificly made rules that we were only allowed to be knocked out by a pokemon that isn't a player but if the mon is a legendary you have to go out of your way to make sure to jump into the attack no matter what

i used to have fun "pokemon battles" in smash 64 an melee, then nobody wanted to play with items anymore... to this day the friends i play smash with only want to play in final destination/battlefield and no items...

7:30 Jump Force managed to do the "scripted loss" thing in a way that genuinely infuriated me. During the middle of the game, you face one of the main bosses, Kane. Here's the thing, though. I was decently overleveled (the RNG on clothing drops in that game are god awful, so I was a lot of the same few missions over and over), so when it came time for the fight, I completely decimated him. He did maybe 5% damage to me total. Then, the cutscene started. Suddenly, my character looks like they were hit by a truch, Kane is spotless and he just starts going on about he superior he is and that we're too weak to stop him. I was legit fuming at the sheer gaul of it all. Then a bunch of my teammates show up and they're all "It's okay, you'll get him next time" and I'm just flabbergasted. Then, to add insult to, well, insult, my character enters their depression arc and the next bunch of missions are labeled as "strength training", because "we lost really bad and now need to pick ourselves up and get stronger". Just. WHY?!

I still think the Citadel DLC for Mass Effect 3 had the best timesink for absolutely no reward in a game i have ever seen! If you invite James to your new apartment, he will notice your gym when he decides to leave. After he starts hitting the bag a few times, you can interact with the pullup bar, and he will challenge you to beat his record of 182 pullups! If you decide to go for it, it becomes a 20 minute QTE, where the game randomly flashes a Paragon or Renegade prompt, and you MUST do it in time for every pullup... The timing varies over time, and you have an animation between every single one, with James commenting on milestones like 50 and 100, and if you actually end up doing all 183, you are rewarded with NOTHING, outside of James being speechless that you beat him, and Shepard mentioning that they are gonna pay for that tomorrow! The only real fun is to do it in a dress as female Shepard, as male Shepard is a beefcake and sorta believeable, while noodle arm female Shepard looks so out of place...
