Is the piano track played when you unveil the outfit at the end from Babylon Berlin soundtrack? The play with camera focus, dark corridor and that track did make it seem like a detective series!

I love your content and I've watched everything you've put out so far. I love your knowledge on the subjects that you do videos on and you are constantly giving me ideas on diversifying my wardrobe. However, I think you would do well with scripting out a general idea of what you'd like to say, as I feel you tend to ramble a bit and get lost in your train of thought. I'd be quite interested in hearing was you have to say about the look and fashion of the Marilyn Manson "Golden Age of Grotesque" era. I myself have really been appreciating his twists on classic 20s, 30s and 40s fashion styles.

As for changing the color of items such as a beige trenchcoat, rather than using mud I've had good success using Rit dyes. Works best when dying darker color over a lighter color, such as grey over beige.

Nothing is like Mr Rat, but you look fantastic in this outfit. The video is really good, but if its aloud to gave you a tipp: The music don´t really fit to the Babylon Stil. I think classical Jazz like will be "Das Tüpfelchen auf den i ;)" Und ganz persönliche Frage in unserer wunderbaren Muttersprache: Darf ich als Dame auch um einige Tipps bitten? Ich habe wahnsinnige Schwierigkeiten gute Kleidung zu finden, die nicht überglizernde 20er Kostüme sind. Vor allem passende Schuhe zu finden ist verdammt hart. Vielleicht wäre so ein Video mit Charlotte ja eine Idee :) Genug Klamotten gäbe es ja genug

Thanks for this. I realize you are focused on the color scheme, but a few things are not right. I don’t want to ‘split hairs’, but the look Gereon wears involves particular details that are crucial to the look. Yes, you mention the shirt collar width and cut is not right, but the waistcoat you use has w a revere collar, unlike Gereon’s suit. Though in the period some favored that kind of waistcoat, it wouldn’t work well with the cut of the jacket Gereon wears, which is very fitted and wouldn’t sit well on a waistcoat that was not flat and tight to the body. The waistcoat would be shorter than a modern waistcoat and the trousers would be high rise to the navel to take account of that. Contrary to what you say, Gereon does wear peak lapels on the jacket not a notch lapel, but the peaks are lower and only at a shallow diagonal. The peak is also much broader than modern variants and more of a French cut than an Anglo American suit. The cut of the peak is deeper as well. The suit jacket Gereon wears is two button not three button and is cut shorter than a contemporary suit jacket with a slightly fuller skirt at the back and a tapered curved line from the armpit to the hem. Those details are crucial to the late 1920s/30s style Gereon wears.

The navy Ragland doesn't work with the other, more earth tone elements. It looks more suitable to Rath's superiors, however.
