I really like the seeds I've bought from Pinetree Seeds. They're not expensive. I like the smaller packages because you can try more varieties for less money. Some of the packages have lots of seeds in them.

Even though this video is old now it was very helpful as I had just went through the online Berlin Seed Catalog and was looking for Amish Paste tomato seeds and didn't see them and then you mentioned them so I went back and looked more carefully and found them. A friend bought them as starters for me this year and Oh my goodness they were absolutely huge. I have never been able to grow Roma's of any kind before and these were awesome about the size of baseballs but of course oblong. I had never heard of Berlin Seeds before till I watched your channel. Thank you for sharing. Anna In Ohio

Very nice! We have about half a dozen apple trees (that will hopefully start bearing some this year), a couple pear trees, and a cherry tree.. No peach yet. So far I haven’t done very well taking care of them though 😬

FYI, ground cherries can get invasive. I’m obsessed with eating them, but I have a designated raised bed just for them as they return prolifically each year. Now they’re growing in my grass etc, but I just mow them. Love your videos and I’m enjoying each one.

I have started my pepper seeds for this year. I have about 50 overwintered plants from last year that I hope to enjoy the fruits from again, some of these are my first F1 hybrids. I have all these seed varieties/hybrids and 2021 plants in my latest video. Happy Growing :)

I had a horrible time with sweet potatoes this year. Something ate most of them. Id say 90% we’re eaten. They were all generally small too.

Not cool! We've had some eaten in the past, but not that much. Don't give up! Google and see if you can figure out what it was and how to take care of it.

Cucumbers prefer to grow in trees. I would love to see what ya'll think of forest farms and silvopasture. No guessing game also when potatoes are grown using aquaponics
@morethanfarmers

Interesting. I think silvopasture is awesome. It’s always felt a little beyond me, but I should look into it again.

Honeynut squash taste really good, but i hear they dont store very well, i haven't tried to store them long-term. Also, they dont have a very good yield because they only weigh a few ounces each

Hello, what fertilizer did you use for the green bell pepper, California wonder variety. I am able to get them to grow from seed but they grow very small unlike the store-bought starter plant.

How many plants do you guys start per variety for tomatoes and peppers ?
@morethanfarmers
@morethanfarmers 10 ай бұрын
There’s not really a great answer for the tomato and pepper plants. I choose about four varieties and then divide everything between 15 plants. This year I did half Amish paste and then a couple plants each of the others. I did eight pepper plants with three different varieties.

Buying quality seeds is so important. Folks out here buying those scammer seeds off Amazon really get what they deserve. You mean there isn't a seed that will grow eight completely different fruits at the same time? 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
