Saadia, you have done a marvellous job. You did what you were supposed to do in this lifetime. It's a beautiful way of spreading light. Thank you

I give a damn about what she achieved. Under the garb of this dodgy sufism she never spoke about the cause of kashmir. Instead of standing up for the women and young children of kashmir who are brutalized till this date by the army she proudly claimed as 'hamarey fauji' ,she defended them by giving kashmiri movement a bad name, by giving it a different spin of wahabism and shit. That helped her bosses in Delhi but she will have to answer Allah.. How many times she came on National television and never spoke about the atrocities committed by Indian army in kashmir? Never!!

Mughal and Afghan rule of Kashmir (from 1586 CE to 1819 CE) was brutal, where local Kashmiri Muslims were marginalised and made to work like slaves.

It's same as Sikh rule n dogra ,,,inko kyu bhool gye jinab.

@@riyazkhan-uc7uz - Sikhs, maybe yes because they had an Afghan Governor of Kashmir from 1819 to 1846; and did not relax the taxes or reform the agri sector. Dogra rule of 101 years was not brutal for Kashmir since they made attempts to reform the agrarian sector, such as settlement ops in 1887 by appointing a British Officer assisted by 2 Punjabi officials (Lala Narsingh Das and Syed Alam Shah ; while the Mughals, Afghans and Sikhs made no attempt at all, from 1586 to 1846.

@@vikramrazdan5680 my dear i think u are not aware about the dogra rule or u are pretending to b as lay man ,,my dear dogra rule especially gulab Singh's rule was most brutal and jus like an nightmare for kashmiri muslims only gulab Singh on his arrival remain jamia masjid Srinagar closed and used as horse stable as Sikhs used before ,fasi Ghar was established in zaina kadal and on small issues Kashmiri muslims were hanged to death by these barbaric ,, skinning of an alive person was an another punishment for poor muslims for minor issues u can read unbiased history books which show u some lite,,once a time when a poor Kashmiri muslims refused to obey his master for some issue he was punished to b skinned alive by dogra and gulab Singh was observing that time himself with his teenage son Ranbir Singh ,,Ranbir got fratenned by this brutal act and he closed his eyes, gulab Singh slapped his son Ranbir and says him,,,u have to kept this customs alive when u decame ruler..dogras doesn't did anything for people they did it for theirs state and these Reformation was done by britishers ,,u can check it out mostly schools colleges hospital was built with collaboration of britishers and dogra rulers .

@@riyazkhan-uc7uz - I know where you have read this piece of info, which pertains to Pahari Muslim prisoners from Poonch Jagir who had revolted against Gulab Singh in 1844 (under Sikh rule) and NOT Kashmiri Muslims. Therefore, stop making stories on Dogra rule in Kashmir from 1846 to 1947. There is no recording of any action Gulab Singh's brutality against innocent Kashmiri Muslim commoners during his rule from 1846 to 1857. The Britishers called the whole of Jammu & Kashmir as Kashmir, as the Pakistanis do, which is a fallacy. Here is the except: Godfrey Thomas Vigne, a highly acknowledged writer & traveler of Kashmir, as early as 1844, has been an eye-witness to the horrible cruelty of Gulab Singh against captives of Poonch Revolt against him. He describes Gulab Singh's savagery in these words: "….Some of his prisoners were flayed alive under his own eye. The executioner hesitated…….He then ordered one of two of the skins to be stuffed with straw; the hands were stiffened & tied in an attitude of supplication , the corpse was then placed erect , and the head which had been severed from the body was reversed as it rested on the neck. ……Gulab Singh called attention of his son to it , and told him to take a lesson in the art of governing. The heads of two of the prisoners I saw grinning from iron cages over the path…..affording a wholesome lesson to all travelers…." (Travels in Kashmir, (1844) volume 1, page 243; see also Travels in the Himalyan provinces (1837 London), Vol 2, p 132, by Sir William Moorcroft for earlier Sikh Rulers' atrocities against Kashmiri Muslims).
