Rats are hugely underrated pets. They're quite smart and get attached to people. Like little tiny puppies. They do poop constantly though.

The Peacemaker was the inspiration of The Comedian in The Watchmen. Hence the line "Peacemaker what a joke".

While the first part is true, it’s a big assumption that the line was specifically referencing Watchmen. The dialogue makes perfect sense on its own.

@@maxducoudray Alan Moore wanted to use the recently acquired Charlton Comics characters. DC said no, because they were going to be added to the DC universe. So Moore and Gibbson created orginal characters based on the Charlton ones. So yeah, The Comedian is an Alan Moore knock-off of The Peacemaker.

@@danielskinner5346 That’s what I said. The first part is true (Comedian is based on Peacemaker). I’m only questioning whether we can assume that specific line of dialogue is referencing Comedian. I don’t buy it, personally.

I had a roommate from Brooklyn, and he insisted he didnt have an accent. Lol He had the most Brooklyn accent possible and had a whole argument in Iowa with the parents of the guy our friend was fighting after the fight how he didnt have an accent. It was hilarious.

Yeah the Peacemaker end credit was added in later. Originally he was supposed to die then Covid hit and James Gunn ended up writing a Peacemaker series.

Literally when John Cena was offered the series and questioned his death James said he’d take care of it and made an amazing show. If he could bring him back from the dead then I have no reason to think that he could bring him to another universe while making sense.

I remember when they announced the show, I was so confused cause we saw him get shot in the throat. (I actually thought the show was a prequel.) But I guess it makes sense they would add new footage to explain how he came back.

So Starro in the comics was the first threat the Justice League ever faced. He can be seen as an Easteregg in the 90s Superman animated series in a menagerie Superman has in his fortress of solitude after defeating an alien who collected the last of different species, following the Superman series that same Starro would later be a threat in the Batman Beyond animated series. But the best two uses of Starro was in Batman: the brave and the Bold series, and the Young Justice series.

Maple: there is a reason Cena does not wrestle in traditional trunks lol so yeah, that thang he's packing is absolutely real edit: also the helmet shot at around 25:00 the reflection off the helmet was not CG; an almost impossible shot, phenomenal camera work

I mean, yes the "reflection" was not CG, they actually filmed it, but they did use a computer to actually place the "reflection" on the helmet so it was still a special effects shot.

The Suicide Squad comprises of several supervillains from different DC superheroes Savant is a Green Arrow villain. Javalin & Weasel are Firestorm villains. Captain Boomerang is a Flash villain. King Shark is a Superboy villain. Mongal & Bloodsport are Superman villains. Polka-Dot Man, Harley Quinn, & Ratcatcher 1 are Batman villains. Blackguard is a Black Lightning villain. Peacemaker is an Anti-hero in DC Comics (he's not exactly a villain).

I only went to jail twice (long story but ridiculously stupid timing led to ridiculously stupid charges) and yeah they game me like orange crocs with no socks if I remember correctly, the first night they only game me pretzels and a ham sandwich too so yeah. Only stayed for a couple days both times though

I think the firework & flower visual effects are Gunn’s way to show gory violence without showing too much blood. So the movie wouldn’t be changed by the ratings system.

so, in dc lore, amanda waller is the biggest piece of shit there is. while other dc villains are lunatics, socio/psychopaths, etc- waller is inherently and purely lawful evil. she does, what she does, because she can get away with it due to who she backs. she's the greatest example of the little kid in school to does what they want, because their parent's the principle. her "power" is using the US government to blackmail whoever she wants, to do what she wants. there are two heroes she fears. the first [rightfully] is superman. due to knowing, if he finds out even a quarter of the stuff she's responsible for, NOTHING will stop him from having her arrested. the second is batman. waller knows batman's identity and has threatened to expose him, thinking it would keep him in line. his response, "let's both get exposed and see what happens..."

I don't get people's fear of rats. Yes, rats in cities carry diseases and should never be interacted with, but if you think mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and squirrels are cute then rats should just be other cute things that you should avoid, but people freak out when they see them like they're spiders or something. I don't get it. Is it the tails?

@@Diegesis gonna have to say GotG3 is best viewed as the last film in the GotG trilogy; it's James Gunn's Star Wars In fact, all three GotG films can be viewed outside of the Infinity War saga, as each film does not feature a cross-over character from other MCU films Ya'll absolutely should watch it!!

i don't think you really do. i saw both and liked rick even less because of his attachment to the first movie. at least maple didn't have to start with hating everyone. plus harley is way less annoying in this one than the first.
