I don't remember where I read this, but it is funny that the rider boy does not needs ropes neither a saddle it's pure authenticity; probably one of my favorite cards concepts. I am happy to see your videos.

Your thoughts on this are spot on for me right now. Pluto is crossing my ascendant and i have been transformed in many ways. I have dealt with a lot of trauma in my life, but i have been able to transmute those struggles into positivity in my life and rise above them. I was introverted for the first half of my life. Im in my 50s and I have begun to come out of my shell and shine my light more and more. But also holding onto the much needed balance. 🥰

I love your videos of the deep interpretation of cards. Sometimes I'm assuming the Sun can be an indicator for the person to be grounded/mature, to see the darkness of the world and to be realistic. It's like to impart more stoic philosophy in our life. Probably it's because of my nature (the Hermit card summarises my personality the most), I tend to read more of the warning side of the Sun than it's positivity and light-heartedness. However, the Sun definitely brings the topic 'what is happiness' or 'what's the path towards happiness' for me to think about.

I swear! Your videos are probably either the best or some of the best out there. I use your videos as meditation. I hold the card in front of me and I listen. I find that you have a blessed gift of tuning into the cards at a very deep level. Your videos really help me learn the tarot. Thank you so much!

Thanks, Kate. I enjoyed the presentation. I loved the concept of taking a walk through nature and seeing the world as a child again. Let go of beliefs that serve no positive purpose and seek the subtle beauty that hides behind language and concepts. 'Tree' and 'flower' are such a simple words, but look at and touch these objects to rediscover their complexity and beauty. This can be used with anything and everything in your life.

One of my favorite Sun card meanings is Mary K. Greer's "birth of divine child". I love that. Playfulness for me is "playing" with my Silly Putty. So much fun as I sit and read. Dark side of the Sun card - too much sun, i.e. Aug. 2023, as we swelter in triple digit heat. But at least I don't live in the SW, those poor people! You are a wonderful, natural and personable teacher. Great videos even for a very longtime tarot practitioner.

I AM MY INNER CHILD 🙂🙃 I understood the blessing of being a South African when I left the country and was confronted with other realities. Playing is part of our day-2-day. You, reading this, have you been there? Go and see. It's like being part of a PLAY. Even if you choose not to participate but you opened you will receive the joy.....unless you prefer to place your focus elsewhere, that's your choice, pay attention to your choices. Everyone there thinks they a stand-up comedian 😂 and we are, cause we just big children. Lot of foreigners take time to grasp it. Some German friends thought, who these people to comment on my life, the cheek....but as they stuck around, they lost their protective barrier and understood the comments are always just playfull never bad intentioned. I've had friends living there for ages that can't get in to it , can't allow themselves PLAY but either never leave the country or keep coming back 😊 If there is something I MISS in my life it's that, the acceptance that we are all just big kids and we need love, care and play. I had a banner hanging that my small nephew's would always ask what it meant.... DON'T GROW UP IT'S A TRAP ✨ Soon they will innerstand. I hope. Thank you for your work. Thanks, Kate! I always love these "deep-dive" episodes! Sometimes I start these episodes questioning parts of your analysis, but usually wind up agreeing with you by the end. In this case, I wondered how The Fool, having already been through 18 previous adventures, some of them quite intense and maybe even traumatic, can still be portrayed here as a happy innocent little child. But your analysis showed me that all those past ordeals can be symbolized by the stone wall, which the child has now successfully cleared. (I had never thought of that before!) So maybe the Sun's message really is what you said - that this child may have been through a lot of scary stuff, but they haven't let it crush or defeat them. This child is still just as happy and optimistic as The Fool, marching off to the edge of the cliff, and yet sure that somehow, it will all turn out OK.

Thankyou Kate a beautiful interpretation as always .When I think of the Sun I always spiritually connect with the Leo sign of my best school friend, who epitomised the sun energy, vibrant, fun, strong and supportive. I have only felt the sun vibes this last week after suffice to say 2 months of people problems! My personal take is when I have a flurry of ideas, creative projects, supportive friends who lift my spirits. I always relate the sun to joy , togetherness or coming together On some of my cards there maybe 2 people holding hands underneath the sun Over a 2 year period I took up sun gazing as a practice Over time I could gaze into the sun for 45+minutes Only when the sun sets or rises while it’s still orange

I find dressing up in a completely different manner and making up a new character, with a different name and background is very refreshing. Once I pretended to be a Jehovah's witness, in a very respectful way and it was amazing...

To answer your question, I am a sagittarius sun. So I am a goofball at times but not a fool. I can be silly 😋 lolol. Lately the sun card has been popping up in all tarot readings. Even randomly outside, I live in NYC and just happened to get a quick reading, sun card right there. I feel that I am Ina Leo stage in my life. Everything I do is noticed, and I am private person. Hello, Me and my partner shared unconditional love. I love him truly and I wanted our relationship to end in happy marriage. If I say about my partner he is emotional and afraid to go against his parents. Due to family pressure my partner is marrying different girl chosen by his parents, he has decided to sacrifice his love.. I asked about our reunion and about our future to tarot card reader. She asked me to pick the 1st card, and I picked 'The Sun' card. That was a positive card. Then I asked he will fight for me? He will go against his parents? We both end in marriage?
