The power of touch is often underrated. From hugs and handshakes to big bear squeezes, the simple act of touching another human can have a profound impact on our mental and physical health. Studies show that touch can reduce stress hormones and improve overall well-being, improve self-esteem, build trust and connection, provide comfort during difficult times, reduce feelings of loneliness and boost immunity by increasing white blood cell count. Furthermore, touch can be used as a form of communication even when verbal communication isn’t possible. All in all, touch is an incredibly powerful tool that should never be taken lightly. Next time someone reaches out for a hug or handshake don’t hesitate -- it may just make their day!

Totally agree, but touch, hugs, etc, are very rare happenings from most people in the world imho. I'm one of them. It's the norm. No matter how much you want it and need it.

I love touch but some people dont. Why wouldnt they? If I could I would cuddle my Gf all day long. Hold her hand, as well as make love the whole time. Touch, like any other sense we have is an amazing feeling and miracle we can feel. Why not feel it.
