Please, what kinda farm are you running. Coz it really seems like it's a mouse and rat farm. Or is it normal to have so many mice and rats when you have about a thousand traps. It's a paradox I need explained. Are you encouraging (feeding) them / breeding them? Or why do you have so many mice, and when needed rats on demand? Really amazed by old traps, wish you had a playlist with all of them. Also could you make a video on how to make humane traps from common items. Test them and tell us which are the best. There's several KZfaq videos about it, I made the coke bottle one. But then just decided to go ahead and use the common trap. But I only had like one mouse.

Looks like there is a hole on the side of this trap. What if you hooked a tube up with a one-way door to a separate holding container? Then the rats would go through the hole and try to escape. That would solve the problem of them being behind the trap door and blocking it. I'd love to see a second video with this modification. Cheers!

I like the idea of this trap because one careless rat could make one or several careful rats being swept under the rug. I agree with others who say the back should lead to a bucket so that the rats can't try to get out through the gate. Really unique construction that with a few tweaks could be really successful.

The door to the trap needs to be spring loaded with a spring that's softer than the mechanics of the mechanism but still strong enough to keep the rats in.

gator is good, in the south it's a nice luxury item at some of the more expensive seafood restaurants and ones that specialize in wild game. basically the gator recipe i've had at every instance is cajun style deep fried. the taste and texture is like chicken with a hint of shrimp texture on some that i've had. i've never cooked it, but if you make cajun chicken, it's probably the same recipe.

Suggestion: Remove the bottom of the holding cage. Place the trap over a 5 gal bucket with H2O in the bottom. The rats get kicked in then fall into the bucket. Yout making modules of two different traps work together this way.

That trap would probably work better with a larger holding chamber and changing the one door so it fit precisely enough on the bottom to not allow those little rat claws to get underneath and lift it up. (Maybe that was the idea, but cheaply built so tolerances just go out the window?) Everyone is saying to fry the gator cuts, but I'm wondering if gator gumbo would be a good alternate option?

same trap with a somewhat tuned trigger system and a deep bucket instead of the bottom would eliminate all the flaws you mentioned.
Это реально работает?!
