Last year on the 16th of December, there was a horrific attack on a school in Pakistan carried out by the Pakistani Taliban. On this dreadful day 130 students lost their lives as did many teachers and many more injured.
This is a story about one of the survivors, Ahmed Nawaz and his continuous struggle over the past year.
Ahmed and his family are still grieving the loss of Haris, Ahmed's younger brother who unfortunately did not survive this act of terror and they are still recovering from trauma thousands of miles away from their home, family and where the incident took place.
The Pakistani Government sent him to the UK for specialist treatment and it is here he has also began his campaign for the importance of Education.
