hi again Richard and Carol ,thanks for sharing . I had a few Suzukis , and my favourite was guess what , the 1200 bandit . Chris our son and myself both had 600 bandits in the 90s ,then we both had 1200s , in 2011 i had a 1250 bandit . Chris had a 14 reg Busa , all good fun . i dont like the futuristic front ends but perhaps its an age thing with me . thanks again ,keep safe both .

Thanks for uploading, liked the relaxed conversational narrative. I think they've done a good job on the 8R and the SV650 still looks cool.

The GSX-S 1000GX is a great surprise. Looks nice and it has a center stand. That is now a game changer in my opinion. As seen, it is even not too small. I think that you were quite comfortable sitting on it. Great video Richard. Enjoyed it till the very end. Cheers.

All K5 motors are only 130bhp(Moore Mafia dyno runs),the '950' is choked down even more! If you want the full 150 horses, it'll cost you a £40 link pipe(cut the Cat off),a can,a Lextek is as good as the branded ones, a K+N filter and an ECU flash...GSX-S950, GSX-S1000,SE,Katana, GT and GX...all the same money! Or you can buy Arrows downpipes, because the motor has be out for nearly 2 decades, 2nd pipes are out there(might need small adjustments). See the 'Stratford Blonde' 2mins in...her parents lived 10mins away from me here in Scotland...got chatting while resting my legs on the 950, comfy bike that...went down to see the 800RE V-Strom, but preferred that GSX-S! P.S; Subframe aux tank for the Katana, you should have sat on that, can be a tourer,with a little thought...economical for a 1litre engine!

The V-Strom & Katana are nice. Richard, your MT-10 has way better electronics, power, ergonomics and handling. The Katana is comparable to Carol's bike, however, a 3 gallon tank would be a negative.😀 We, Americans are celebrating Thanksgiving Holiday tomorrow. I wish you both all the best!😀😀

Good video showing and explaining about the bikes on show. I didn't go to look at bikes I went to purchase, helmet, trousers and a camera. Came away with nothing the Helmet was cheaper at JTS. Insta rep was to busy on his phone and when I did manage to get his attention he said not selling camera's. Gave up looking for trousers. So glad I had free tickets and parking as having to pay would have been very disappointing. Its OK looking for bikes but the days of grabbing bargains have sadly now gone.

Hi, thank you for the video. The crossover Suzuki bike seems to be very well thought out. It will compete even with BMW S 1000 XR, in this bike segment and the price will be a strong argument on Suzuki’s favor. The Japanese bike manufacturers, lately have been a little behind on some technological enhancements from their European competitors and this shows the Market that their Industry and Innovation departments aren’t giving up the opportunity to step up their game. I had a Suzuki DR big 750 back in the day. Always loved the brand. I would like to take one of their new bikes out!

Good to meet you both on Monday, the 950 is a detuned 1000 so that they can make an A2 compliant bike. I really like the GSX-S 1000's both the naked and the GT and they would be strong contenders if I ever swap my BM. The GX is just a bit to tall for a shorty like me.

Haha certain bikes do encourage “fast” don’t they. Yes I have recently bought an Wee Strom. Not clocked up many miles yet but I really like it. I was initially interested in the DE800, but actually prefer the styling of the V, and the fact that it’s a V 🤣. Also saved many monies by buying a used one. It’s the first Suzuki I’ve had since the 97’ TL1000. Not quite the same 🤔 Thanks for giving us a peek. We timed things badly this year and couldn’t/can’t make the show.

I have an 8s and a gen 3 SV. The torque of the 8s/8r will negate any power deficit from the street triple, have a test and you’ll see. The only draw back is re touring, no real hard luggage options for the 8s plus you’ll be looking for fuel around 130 miles, hence when we head to Europe the SV is the bike of choice 😊

I did have a 650, great little bike, just felt it a bit under powered when running with the bigger bikes, had to think of where I was passing.

You really need to try suzuki's new 800 twin, it's a revelation, and I've been riding triumph triples this last few years, 1200's, 800 and 900 tigers. The engine tempted me in to buying an 800de v-strom......

Great work😊 nice to see suzuki using some imagination at last, although a12L tank on the Katana is a joke, a colleague of mine wanted one but went to the orange side because of the lack of range. I gave up on these events 10 year's ago, by the end of the week the numpties employed on the bike stands have had enough (they know next to nothing anyway) and as you say, no bargains anymore, you're better off going to a dealer

Interesting guy's I really like the GX not so sure on the 8R and knew nothing about the 950 version , have to say guy's never liked the Katanas when they first came out and I have to say not keen now either 😊. Hope you have more to come great watch luv Suzuki's but the new light set up's not to keen if I am honest maybe on the GX but the others hmmm.👌👍

Nice hoodie. Except for the cost the new Tiger 1200 GT would fit you pretty well Richard. The white Suzuki looked like a good fit for Carol but she needs more horsepower. I got to thinking that 12 liter Katana might be in the same neighborhood for range as your MT-10. 😄😄😄

The fuel range of that Katana with a 12 litre tank must be ridiculous. Might have to try out that GX to see how it compares to my Versys. The Versys is very comfortable with a decent seat. I fancy that GX engine might pull better than my Kwak. I quite like that green colour of the GX, and not a bad starting price either. Me thinks Carol should test ride one of the 8R's, might be surprised. My mate has the 8S and was very surprised with its pull.

Could you really live without the MT10's glorious sound, 'cos I couldn't? I do hope you will do other makes, as well. I'm going to the NEC on Friday. Have you had a good ride on the new MT10 yet Rich?

Suzuki will do well with the new GSX-1000 Tourer. Yamaha should have rejuvenated the FJR and they missed the train. I would buy the Suzuki before spending on the BMW RT. Cheaper and more reliable. Moreover, many dealers around.
