I remember during Dressrosa Luffy recommended Franky eat the Flame-Flame fruit, but Franky refused because he liked being able to swim. Kinda funny how his opponent that arc was the one DF user who can still swim.

@@r4nd0mguy99 I think we won't know about it ever, unless Oda has had dropped such information somehow. And I think it can't even be predicted, as the skin we visibly see on the body of Franky, may very well be just a skin mask/coating cause we have always seen some sort of gadget pop out out from the areas of his body, which is visibly skin or metal.

@r4nd0mguy99 Based on buoyancy, if his massive arms and body is mostly hollow and water tight, then he would float. That being said, if he can breath fire then he must have some kind of fuel source. Could be a gas or light liquid 🤔

Another question off of Tekking's center of the earth question is could Senor Pink swim from island to island by swimming under the ocean? The caveat would be that he'd probably have to be able to breathe while in the earth.

The Swim-Swim Fruit along with it’s user is so HARD BOILED … but honestly I liked this fruit (probably not my top choice to eat) where basically the user has the ability to go through walls & can make the ground act like liquid which as an Awakening I can see the user making the area like a pool to make it hard for others to move

I always thought that an awakening for Senor Pink's swim swim fruit was to be able to pull others into the water with you, So to speak. Imagine S-Shark fighting Lucci, and as he charges up Shigan he gets pulled under. Any devil fruit user, either don't know how to swim or haven't swam since before eating their fruit. That alone would be a psychological attack, any fruit user would think they're going to drown immediately. And S-Shark i think is the best candidate for this fruit.

Tekking I am a science. magma is only viscous because heavy metals don't melt in that heat, so it's not all liquid. If it was hot enough, it would be like water,

Technically, freezing only applies to liquids turning into a solid phase. You could think solids "freeze" faster than liquids, for ease of use, because they dont have to lose extra energy to undergo that phase change. It's just a quicker temperature drop.

Regarding what's the limit. We kind of have a clue from when Luffy was buried in Mochi. We know it didn't count as a liquid even though it's soft and maleable. I would say Caramel or honey would probably be the borderline for this

Great video. The swim swim fruit is a very interesting fruit. I think Senior Pink breathing and swimming to the center of the earth is a good idea that should be his awaken form of his fruit. I think magma is a semi liquid.

As a geologist, the mantle is partial liquids. Some of it is fully melted and some of it is just malleable

When a Straw Hat falls overboard, it's usually Luffy, followed by Chopper who wants to rescue him, but forgets he too has a devil fruit. Before Jinbei joined, it was usually Nami or Sanji who had to pull them up. Good thing Jinbei does it in no time.

@@NachtAsile spoilers for anyone who hadn't gotten past Dressrossa yet: Señor pink had been a pirate before marrying his wife. During that time of marriage he had a baby and then the baby died, causing his wife a lot of grief. In hopes of cheering her up, Señor Pink dressed up in a baby outfit, and she smiled. So, to keep her smile alive he dresses up as a baby. Also, I take "hard boiled" to be synonymous with being manly.

Speaking of Vander Decken, my wife and I finished fishman island last week. My wife noticed Decken had a bubble on and asked to confirm if he's a fishman. I forgot he had a devil fruit and tried to justify it based on his lineage and "not being fishman enough" or not having gills before remembering his power 😂 Then I explained that he could breathe underwater, he would just be drained of his strength.

One of the most usefull things about the swimm swimm fruit is that you can walk/swim through walls as it they were water. You literally can't be trapped.

On the question of the feeling of liquid rock, I'd believe it'll follow the same logic as mercury: takes any shape water could take, but feels likes being hit by kilogramms of bricks.

I believe the pressure won't affect you otherwise you can barely swim at all because if you think of that concrete weight a lot and i don't know a lot of people who can move with a weight of a ton on them

Anyone remember the old translations where they would say "the Devils fruit makes you a hammer in water" instead of saying it takes away your ability to swim? I definitely remember that because it made no sense, but apparently you became a hammer

You can't freeze solids. Being "frozen" is essentially the same thing as being a solid, but the biggest difference is how different substances react to a change in temperature. For example, when you heat up wood enough, it eventually starts to burn. It doesn't turn into a liquid. It just gets brittle. Okay, to be fair, when you make it cold enough, anything solid gets brittle. Have you heard of liquid nitrogen?

I’d say the substance has to have water present in it. So jello you’re done but you could eat it and remove the suffocation, but magma shouldn’t have water in it so it shouldn’t affect anyone.

Given how strong the capabilities of this fruit is I imagine that the user before Pink was one of the 'Silver Medallists', alluded to by Sir Crocodile who went out to kill Whitebeard and then failed or had the potential to become one of the Yankou.

An idea I like for the awakening of the swim fruit is that it would let the user swim through the air, essentially letting them fly. Also question could someone swim through something living like a tree and if thats possible could you swim through a person like say a giant?

How I see it is that it gives any solid the properties of a liquid for it to allow you to swim in it, but I think you are still subjected to any temperature and pressure changes while inside, so swim deep enough and the pressure would start to affect you, same if the ground is hot or cold, as for Aokiji, I think Señor Pink would still be able to swim in ice, but that would be really painful and yeah, if he himself gets frozen, it's over.

I think say an awakening for the swim swim fruit would be for the user to temporarily allow OTHERS to swim, pretty logic and stays within the already established rules of "affecting the environment". Similarly how Mingo and Kata are both string and mochi men and their awakening is to turn other things into their respective elements. Also how it's HEAVILY implied Brook is ALSO awakened because his DF is to revive HIMSELF but the biggest proof is his fight with the homies. They are animated thanks to the SOULS inside them and Brook REVIVED them.
