Dedicated Home Fry here, found your channel with the Country Fried Pop Medley, and (as I tend to do) started binge watching your HF Reactions to see how genuine you are. When I heard "I'm a Thrift Shop Girl", I knew that I HAD to subscribe!! *Shaking your hands* .... Yep. I saw that flicker of recognition and yes, that was Avi Kaplan in the walk-by toast, on the bull at the end AND putting the champagne glass on the table to begin the bar scene. Good call on Rob's whistling prowess, he's one o the best in the bidness. He has a longer feature in Quarantine. And finally let me just say, you lucky bastard! All that and she's a thrift store girl too? Yer livin' the charmed life there bud. Great job Swolie folk. Again!

This is the first song Tim Foust wrote. He didn’t want to sing country but they wanted him to. So he went back to his room and wrote a song that he just knew was gonna be a flop….little did he know lol the harmonies, Adam’s beatboxing and Rob’s whistling were so good! Did y’all notice Avi stopping by to bump beers with Tim? If you will look close you can also see him in the last scene (in the background)look between Tim and Chris on top of the bar. Lol Thanks for reacting to this song, I love it! I love Home Free😊

Another great older Home Free original, is, Good Ol' Country Harmony. There's a cute video of the guys as kids, coming together for a talent show. You also get to hear Austin really go off a couple of times, near the end. Great job guys.

That was such a fun video. These guys know how to have fun without compromising their vocals. Rob is great with his whistling. And you are right about Adam's vocal percussion. He can simulate any drum sounds. Heard drummers comment on how realistic he sounds. Home Free are my favorite a cappella band out there.

Not sure if you guys caught it or maybe you didn't know but the cameo towards the end is Avi Kaplan [originally of Pentatonix]. I think this was filmed after they finished Ring Of Fire feat Avi Kaplan [check me if I'm right]. Other originals I can think of are Good Ol' Country Harmony and Cross That Bridge [among others]. This was filmed right after "Ring of Fire ft Avi" and he was still hanging around so did a quick appearance on this...his hand putting the champagne glass on the table, the walkthrough and the pose on the bull at the end....

Some real up close and personal stuff that you will enjoy to see how the guys are in the times you mentioned. When they are hanging around on set, traveling on the bus, between takes on location for making videos etc...! Lots of fun!♥️

Tim said on a Interview that his Boss at the time came in and said he needed to write country Songs, Tim didn't want to. But his Boss said do it or get fired. So he said I guess I am a country western writer now. He said he drank a 5th of wild turkey and wrote this song hoping his Boss would say no goo back to writing pop. lol This song became a Favorite of fans. It backfired on him.

Hell yes thrifty is me too....I never cared much for the taste of champagne NOR an empty bank acct. neither but it has happened & this ol gal knows how to adjust & make do. Lol I remember a my mom saying to me when I was younger & on her about something I wanted in a store & kept begging plz plz for. She said "You are old enough where your "wants" won't hurt ya! " She was right I wanted it but didn't need it. I knew her struggle as a single parent in the 70s & after a min. I was all good with it. I understood her, the lesson, & how to take care & appreciate what I have had the privilege of earning in my life🧡🤘🏼😎 this one was a fun song. Love that guys deep tone💯🤘🏼

This is absolutely my all time favorite Homefree video, it's just so relatable. My last wife was like that, but the angel I have now, well let's just say we've been together just over 10 years now and her idea of "Date Night" is supper at Subways, a stop at the hooch store for a 30 pack of Miller High Life and a $10 shopping spree at the local Good Will Store! Hahaha, isn’t this funny?!!! An original written by Tim. I’ve heard years ago some management (not current) told him to only write country songs and he wanted to do more but they insisted so he got drunk and wrote this in one night. Pretty funny. Did you see Avi make an appearance? Haha. Rob is a great whistler. He is the whistler in the group. Loved the lyrics. I won’t see her pretty face at all cause the prison’s no where near the mall. Hahaha. Great reaction!
