Day 9 of The T5 Project! Long overdue audio upgrades!
In this video I'll show you how to install tweeters and door speakers into a VW T5. We ordered our kit from the guys at Skipton Car Radio so it's more or less as plug and play as it can be. The hardest bit of the installation is running the wire from the drivers side tweeter housing into the back of the headunit. I worked it out though and I'll show you how to do it!

Use an old retractable tape measure to run wires as it will pull cable back through if attached with a little tape

Thanks for this video, just bought tweeters and loom for 2011 t5.1 and not a clue how to get the loom to the speaker slots on the dash. Massive help so thanks for posting

The T5 Project I’ve asked Skipton car radio about 3 times now for the best route to take the cables but they don’t seem to want to reply so we’ll see how I go 👍🏼

Ah that’s a shame. There’s plenty of slack going the route I took and there’s enough room to get your hand up high and tuck the cables away. Good luck!

Noice videos mate, just found your channel and watched everything. Looking forward to seeing the finished van. Are you planning on using a flat pack kitchen in the back or building a custom one?

Thanks so much mate! The plan is to build the bed and furniture from scratch. It’s an ever evolving project though so if that turns out to be too much for me I’ll look into getting a ‘flat pack’ sort of thing.
