Fin Lay : Agreed. In fact it would be so much better without the music as a good tradesman or do it yourselfer is good to watch with only his speaking or the sound of his work or tools to hear. Also might have been good if he had a mike on him as his voice sounds strange due to distance from the mike.

Once you add the fiber insulation to the back of the foil you remove it’s radiant properties making it useless except as a vapor barrier. Best to use foam spray and you can spray into cavities. You can’t beat foam for sound and thermal insulation. Check out the costs too.

I spent most of this winter in a completely uninsulated van. Granted, temps in my area usually don't drop much below 4C, but, with a good sleeping bag, it's managable. Only reason I'd need insulation is for road noise during those times I'm "forced" to sleep on a relatively busy street (rather not wear earplugs).
@dirknoom4389
@dirknoom4389 4 жыл бұрын
You might want to consider wearing external ear protection. It limits your sleeping positions a bit, but it's more comfortable and easier to take on and off than earplugs. I find i t's usually better than trying to sleep with sound in the background.
