Tactical dice-rolling roguelike combat. Take control of 5 heroes, each with their own unique dice. Fight your way through 20 levels of monsters and try to take on the final boss. If you lose a single fight you have to start over so be careful (and lucky!).

My experience is that Tainted is less "HUGE power at a cost" and more "power at a HUGE cost"

I find it so funny he picked the Tainted but never picks a cursed Chest too. In this case, the curse item was much worse then a tier 1 curse

To be fair, most of the Teir 4 curses suck. And can easily kill a run if you get the wrong one. It honestly isn't worth it.

I just realized 'keyword: Nothing' could be kinda interesting for some of the tactics moves. The secret to those is being able to meet multiple requirements with single sides. So like a "Blank + 1 keyword", getting that one face to do that would be cool

Also Tainted is unpickable IMO lol. It's just too gnarly of a curse for a guy thats worse than what you can make with some good items... Yes, Tainted PLUS items can be a lot of damage, but still... Maybe in modes that already have more curses, an extra 4 points isnt as big of a deal.

Also Mountain team is hard to pick IMO too. The turn 1 stone HP was probably the perfect pick for this team though.

@@themadichib0dUntil you get boned by that character(and not in a good way). Straight up, nine times out of ten, he lands on that stupid summon side for me and it is very annoying.

That mana bomb item is interesting to say the least, that with seer to store a lot of mana over a few turns then nuke everything, if everything dies it counts as a win for you anyway so it'll be a fun nuke run

In the future, it would be nice if you could click on the stats button at the end of a run, even if you don't have anything to say about it, it's nice to see :)

I feel like in general, the scale of the curses and cursed items is really high in this game? Not even that they shouldn't be as bad as they are (though I have mixed feelings), but when you compare tier 1 good things to tier 1 cursed things they aren't even remotely close. Just changing the number associated with them to accurately reflect the difficulty would allow players to make a better informed decision on things like opening cursed chests (though they really never seem to be worth it).

I think the fact you can fail to roll a busted combo makes the game a bit more balanced and fun. It also means you can't just rely on one thing to win your run. :)

Still unsure how I feel about the Tainted. That lvl 4 curse can screw you. There is a 4 sided, 4 pip item called backstab. Mandatory attack your party. Thx for the video, great run.

hey, mate, just a head's up - there's a target icon top right that you can hover/click (not sure as I play on mobile) that shows all enemy targeting.

I really like the tainted, I'm used to the curses (I'm still trying to beat unfair 2 times in a row to unlock heaven)

The problem I have with tainted is that you could get a random curse that makes you loose right away, which is made more likely by the fact you can't pick or reroll the curse. Like what if you click on him and suddenly you get heavy sleeper? (where every hero who died last fight has all their faces replaced with blank stasis)
