Tactical dice-rolling roguelike combat. Take control of 5 heroes, each with their own unique dice. Fight your way through 20 levels of monsters and try to take on the final boss. If you lose a single fight you have to start over so be careful (and lucky!).

The legendary Bludus is here... (There are a few simple mods showcased in the Mod menu, the Ludus with only Wand Mana sides is one of them.)

Hey Retro, idk if you'll see this, but in the settings, there is an option somewhere that you can turn on that lets you see the rarities of certain things like curses, enemies and even party formations at the start of a run. If you've ever seen the log enemy, it has a 3% chance of spawning. I would've never known without this setting!

The sisters (Magrat et al) show which hero they damage on their health bar. It’s a ^, < and V symbol for top, middle and bottom respectively.

@@sonarchy5158 Indeed! The reason I comment is because Reto seemed to be having trouble quickly checking which sister damages who after one defeated sister.

Really cool run. Rush is a fun party setup! Missed the charged from Poet activating chain for Weaver to triple your mana instead of doubling it to diss that poor dragon even more at the end. I love the Warlock so much, Blaze is just a great spell!

Lol, casting blaze on a little spider... Also I too recently realized that Spore is a slightly better spell than you'd think for squeeking out midgame 4 damage, or 2 cleave, or 3 ranged.

Would like a Cursed Evil, Blessed heros, type run where EVERY round you choose a blessing for your heros, and a curse for your enemys. Where the curse pool only effects how strong enemys are, while blessings only affect heros.

Something I just realized, the Flea might be interesting to use on any character no matter what, because if you run into something that weakens the character down to 0 pips on any side, wouldn't it just bring it back up to a min 1?

Yep, it also works well with items that reduce things to zero (it's no longer dead side, just not great value) it also works for a few zero items as they give sides just with no pips

@@final_catalysthave you tested this or are you just guessing? From my experience with how items work it would only work with dice that are at 0 pips to begin with at the start of a fight.

@@Coffeewings334 as long as the current state of the side meets the conditions when adding the item it does. It's why the level 0 item preparation is actually kinda good, as when meeting conditions for applying effects before battle starts

@@final_catalyst Didn’t read your comment thoroughly enough. Your read is correct, but OP who suggested that putting it on a character “just in case” they get weakened to 0 in a fight or something is mistaken I believe.

Not sure if you noticed. On the Agnes fight the little orange arrows on their healthbar point the way the damage is going. Up down or to the left (for middle) Little visual to help know who they are damaging without having to look into them. :)

Im curious if For myco, its spell is suppose to be used on the growth sides. That way the decay is balanced and it just always gains +1. Could be a good spell on a growth based team

I beat brutal on choose a party yesterday with all orange heroes. I was offered all sides gain pair for all heroes and all heroes level up at beginning of run, then every hero became a dancer at tier three and I just cantripped through the whole thing lol. Had all monsters with double health, spawn a bones on death and all monsters gain plus 2 to all sides as downsides, but it didn't matter because they never got turns 🤣

The tier 1 curse pool does have stinkers but like, most of them are *pretty* harmless in the grand scheme of things I feel. I'd give the curse list a read and see if that tweaks your opinion of the cursed chest.

it is more that 4 t1 items are really not great in the longterm due to inventory slot constraints

@Retromation you're not wrong on that front, but the tier 1 pool does hide some gems in there, particularly items that help put faces on the right sides for other quality items. And atleast in the short term it's a modest power spike for the lowish cost of a minor handicap
