The Wandering Jew is a mythical immortal man whose legend began to spread in Europe in the 13th century. In the original legend, a Jew who taunted Jesus on the way to the Crucifixion was then cursed to walk the Earth until the Second Coming. As a history buff I ran across this particular tale and thought I must tale it again to another generation. stay until the end of the film to hear a God Glorifying, Christ exalting message.

I'm glad you enjoyed it friend. I got the basic premise from an old 14th century fable, buy everything else I wrote myself. I particularly wanted to add in Isaiah 53 to try and explore that tension between the jews and Christians between who the correct messiah is. We as Christians know that Isaiah 53 shows us beyond a shadow of doubt that Jesus obviously fulfilled Isaiah's prophetic vision of the suffering servant, yet we knkw the Jews still struggle with this.

I say, once one studies The Shroud of Turin and knows the facts... They are compelled to answer how, and what made the image! No one can provide the answer!

@@Godsglory777 oh wow I actually came to know of the Geneva version just yesterday. Kept wondering why he/she wrote the verse like that 😊

@vanessachiunda7262 it was men who put together the Geneva bible in Geneva Switzerland. It was a bible translation that was started by the great reformation, which included men Luke Martin Luther, John Knox, and John Calvin; along with other men such as Anthony Gilby (who oversaw the translation of the OT), Thomas Sampson, Christopher Goodman, William Cole, and possibly John Knox, Laurence Tomson, and Miles Coverdale. This Bible translation was later condemned by King James I, who then later commissioned the Authorized Version or (the great bible) later known as the King James Bible or KJV.

Yeah, that's actually a theory by those who believe this tale is true. I don't believe it is, I believe it's a myth just like many of the gnostic tales that have been told down throughout the centuries, but they make for a great story.

@@Godsglory777 No one knows unless we build a time machine , We know Jesus was real as Tacitus Pliny the younger and Joseph's mentioned him and they hated Christians ✝️ whether he was God's son we that's what we need a time machine for ad otherwise just blind faith
@Godsglory777
@Godsglory777 Жыл бұрын
@C Ayres no not blind faith, biblical faith. We can know Jesus never said anything of the such because of the Bible. That's the Christians' standard because without a standard, you truly have blind gullible man made faith. We don't need a time machine to observe reliable historical texts. Nothing of this sort was recorded inBible, especially what we know about Christ, and so I stand by that. If you're a Christian, it's vitally important what you believe about Christ. It can mean the difference between salvation and no salvation.

@@Godsglory777 I'm Catholic but not a regular church goer 👍 the thing that disturbs me is theres many contradictions between each gospel as For example Luke was written after Mark and by 20 years so obviously not a disciple who wrote the bible as the Disciples were illiterate fisherman so they must have paid others to write their words also Saul who became Paul did not know Jesus personally so hard to trust his words

@@christineayres7199 so you don't believe the Bible is the word of God? And if so, what do you base your beliefs upon?

jesus as a teen; you better believe he cursed many. however, each one deserved it; but after realizing their errors. they always came back to beg forgiveness. jesus removed all their afflictions that he cast upon them lol. you have to understand; from jesus' point of view. especially in his late teens. he knows who he is. but there are people who still doubt; but it wasn't their doubt that got him angry. it was their aggression to call him a liar. LOL. this was not put into the bible for obvious reasons. jesus was god but he was also human; and the only way a human learns best is through hardship.
