EXACTLY! Like, it totally bothers me that the women on TBBT are only interested in shoes and guys! I mean, Penny, okay, she has to be the girly girl. But the others? Again. It's mostly Penny. Amy and Bernadette are pretty supportive even if they don't share their lovers' interests. They know it's part of who their lovers are. I agree. It really puts women in a bad light, portraying them as characters who dismiss and abuse the things that their partners love but then force everything they love on their partners! After all, Leonard watches sports for Penny, Sheldon planned a Little House on the Prairie themed birthday for Amy, Howard almost went on a fishing trip with his father-in-law to please Bernadette…but do they ever make the same kind of gestures for the boys? Nope! They really come across as being entitled.

The left was a wall containing in a box the public phone to the police station, with a hatch inside so you could grab the hand of the little tyke who was playing with it, whilst you sat at the desk, warming your frozen feet by the electric heater.

Larry Lee Moniz I fucking hate that in a relationship or marriage when 1 person feels that he/she to have complete authority over his/her significant other (some use their gender & others use the "I make more money than you" & think it's OK to do it) & (often) force them (their significant other) to get rid of stuff they like because he/she (the bossy 1) thinks it's stupid. If I knew anyone (male or female) who was in a relationship with or married to assholes like that, I'd hope they have enough brains to tell the mother fucker off (even if it means ending the relationship/marriage). If 1 person can't stand the fact that their significant other likes certain things, well then that's his/her own damn problem & the significant other SHOULDN'T have to suffer & give up what they like just to please those controlling dick faces.

Well Howard can't just bring in the TARDIS to his house and expect his wife to be okay with it. It's big and one has to be thinking when he/ she buys it, planning to stick it in their house somewhere. They are in the marriage together, so Howard should've consulted with Bernadette before he bought the TARDIS.

I am a 24 years old female and i love Doctor Who!

Not all the girls make them feel like children. It's mostly Penny. Amy has stood by Sheldon despite the fact she doesn't like Dr Who, comics, trains, or sci-fi in general. Bernadette stood by Howard too. She only gets annoyed if he spends too much money on action figures. Howard needs to know his boundaries. Penny's the most disparaging one.

That first half is exactly what made me hate the show. It started off okay but then they couldn't even get the culture right. It's kinda nice that it hit the mainstream but reduced to this weird participation geek badge. I like BBT = I'm a geek! Someone actually said that to me.

And then Sheldon could die every episode...

I can't stand how Bernadette is in the new episodes, she wouldn't let Howard go to space so she tattled on him to his mom, she yelled at Raj when she and Howard lost HIS dog, kicked him out when he lived with them for HELPING out around THEIR house, and she nearly broke Leonard and Penny up to win a scavenger hunt!

Yeah, she was a bitch in the scavenger hunt episode. If I got paired with someone like her, I'd wanna leave her on the side of the road in a wooded area off the freeway in the dead of night or do something even worse to her (sorry, just blowing off steam). I agree she was a fucking bitch for yelling at Raj, despite the fact that (as you pointed out) she & Howard lost Cinnamon. I often do say "Fucking bitch" when she's like that. I wonder how people would react if they killed her off, like Howard get's a call saying that she was in a terrible car accident & didn't make it.

Another thing that annoyed is when the girls went to vegas where they got drunk and went to a male strip club, how come Bernadette made a huge fuss about Howard's affair with a sailor moon cosplayer (and possibly Raj) before they they even met but it's alright for her to go to strip clubs after they got married?!?! Also I just remembered when the guys were having a sleepover and playing star wars and she wanted to play so they let her and she had so much fun. Now she dominates over Howard trashing Dr. Who, what's worse is that the Tardis isn't seen after this episode meaning it's destruction was a waste, they could've at least sold it to Stuart or Sheldon for a lot of money instead of give it away for free! tbh though, I think it would shock/offend a lot of people if they killed her off since she's been made into a main character. She isn't a very hated character for people to accept her death, like when the simpsons did it with Maude Flanders.

Also, some people brought up the thing about once people get married, everything becomes shared. I'll be honest with you when I say I don't believe in that everything becomes shared upon marriage crap. This is how it would go with me... #1: Whatever I buy myself (with my own funds) or whatever is given to me (& only me) as a gift is mine & only mine, the wife would have no say (or any form of control) in it's fate. If she doesn't like whatever personal belongings I own, then... "TOUGH FUCKING LUCK!" I'd say to her. #2: Whatever the wife buys (with her own funds) or whatever gifts she (& only she) is given will be her's & only her's, so I'd have no say in what happens with it. I can be respectable of her personal belongings if she is mine. #3: Whatever we both buy together (combined funds) or whatever is given to both of us as a gift, then those are shared items with 50-50 control over them. I saw the scavenger hunt episode on earlier this week & again saw how much of a bitch Bernadette was. I said if I were a character in the show & were in their group, I actually said I'd go off on Bernadette with a little rant about why I (possibly) hated her similar to how Quagmire went off on Brian with a rant about why he doesn't like him in an episode of Family Guy.
