Good Morning Donna, Thank you for another beautiful quilt. Since Jan. Ive completed 5 quilts as part of my "Covid Crazy" therapy. Finding your video tutorials this year lit the fire back inside my soul to return to quilting and sewing. all 5 of the quilts Ive finished so far have been cut pieces that i was left with in grocery bags after my gramma passed away 25 years ago.(Im now 54) She was old school..templates for piecing were cardboard shapes..nothing was straight or square but somewhere inside me I just found my passion again, Now with rotary cutting and strip piecing,,I find it so enjoyable and gratifying to watch my unfinished quilt tops come to life. This "Strawberry Swirl" will be my next adventure. Thank you for the magic of your personality and talent,,it has been a gift to my soul.

@@bettywhittington9654 thank you. I HAVE SOME SCRAP QUILT BATTING AND FABRIC. I think I will experiment in a small quilt to fit my dog's bed...she doesn't require perfection.

Just curious, but how many of you feel like you’re Donna’s #1 fan? I mean you might be #2 because I’m #1 but it’s OK if you feel like #1 as well. I ❤️ her videos and most of my quilts are recreations of a Donna tutorial. I fall asleep to Donna almost every night. I’m thankful when my doctor appt is running late so I can watch more videos.

I think she does that to make us all feel special. And to show us all what we can do too. Sometimes beginners don't see things like advanced sewers do. I know when I got my sil to quilting, she was so excited. I told her it was like watching her turn flips in a tight skirt. She was so funny. And I loved watching her excitement.

Sometimes seamstress, first time quilter. Found Donna by accident, yet as Master Oogway said, "There are no accidents." Making my first ever quilt nd i gotta say i almost gave up. Fabric and patterns are so interesting. At first I thought, that won’t go, the blue is too much like the other colors. Well I was wrong, it finished very nice. Lovely quilt.
