We finally know all of the cards in Battles of Legend: Terminal Revenge and we get to see Dragon Master Magia in the TCG which is great, but unfortunately... The TCG ......Sigh..

I bought one original ultra from OCG on EBay at 1.75 dollars with shipping form Japan. Is insane that we have to pay excessive prices for a card that was done to be a support for a fun deck. This monetization escheme of KONAMI TCG (which is an American Company, not a Japanese) is disgusting

Dude they been jacking price up on the fun decks for decades just look at what most of the new hero and dark magician shit was costing at one point. I'm just surprised they didn't just make it a prize Card instead of an expensive cover card. But I'm sure that's the plan moving forward now. To give players an expensive card to case that don't drop in price for a few years. Just be glad that at least the card sucks as support for either deck it was made for.

It’s blatant greed by Konami who is trying to boost box sales with a “chase card.” Its presale price is currently $600 on TCGPlayer which likely won’t hold but I’m guessing it’ll easily be over $100 on release. Meanwhile the card released in the OCG in multiple rarities making it far easier to pull. I do believe that a lower rarity will release this year (maybe in the tins) but we’ve already had to wait six months and now maybe another six just for casual fans to get their hand on the card.

GamersChoice has it up and it sold out at $500 a copy. Sadly, I bought all the cards I needed for a deck for this card and now I don't think I can afford this card.

well it's fusion materials strongly suggest this to not be a meta card any time soon, so it would be good for only collectors purposes more or less.

This is them trying to make money on the nostalgia players. It's why hero support or dark magician support was getting expensive as well for some of the new cards. But now after they price hiked snake eye stuff and kinda jacked up yubel crap now they decided to really go overboard on this new fusion. Which sucks ass. And if people actually spend 500 on it then those fools fed the beast to justify them doing to other popular support or worse make reprints that don't drop the price for another year or two. To keep the card more like a prize.

@@DANCERcow there is. Dragon magia master is a blue-eyes card that is actually decent for the archetype it’s like making Minerva a prize card for tournaments lol. Ten Thousand Dragon is cool but it’s not “good” that’s the difference mate.

Don’t feed them for this dumb decision they made. Buy what you want as singles, don’t contribute to them directly by buying these boxes,

I was lucky enough to scoop up the initial pre order of Magia from Gamer’s Choice before the price spiked. Thank god for that. Now listed at $800 on tcg player. And has had buyers at $600.

@@AaronHeininger so yes collectors rares are largely just a form of shinier cardboard. However when the literal only print of a card is a QCR, and that card happens to be used in the deck I’ve been labbing for a couple months and wanting to play. Not much to do. So definitely would say lucky.

I’m not trying to flip it to make money on it, although I could. If you actually read and comprehended what I said, I have been labbing a deck that plays Magia for the past 2-3 months at least. And I want to play that deck. That is why I bought it. And I said I am lucky because I was able to snag a pre order before the price spiked to hell.

It's not even that the card was actually good or anything. It was an impossible card to bring out that rewards you if you do. This is basically the very concept of "toying around and trying different combos to see what might work". The essence of a cardgame like Yugioh. It should be easily available for everyone to toy around with and be creative. Nobody says it can't also be QCR. Heck go crazy and make an alt art that is QCR only if you want to, a really epic one. Could have been a fun nut to crack, but now it's nothing more but a collectors piece that nobody will even try to play with, I fear. Honestly, I think i might be taking a break from this game for a while.

This is the first time I see a cover Card Literally Short Printed and priced as much as Judgment Dragon back in the day over $400 Instead of doing this Konami give us Real search Arch-type support a Lord of D link monster or a XYZ Lord of D or a Blue Eyes XYZ monster or a New King Dragun monster

First the disappointment that was rarity collection 2 and now this. A COVER CARD that is a decent boss monster for an iconic archetype that really needs it can only be pulled in QCR. This seems like a joke. Probably the scummiest thing that Komoney has done in a long time.
