The Greatest Dynasty in NFL History was formed in New England. Led by the Greatest QB and Head Coach of all time. Brady and Belichick's rule would last for nearly 20 years; however, dynasties are rarely formed with clean hands.

It was actually kind of funny in that wild card game when the Tennessee Titans ended the dynasty coach Mike Vrabel who used to play for Bill Belichick used the same delay-of-game punt trick a couple times to run like 3 or 4 minutes off the clock and the loophole is closed the next year. 😆 When coach Vrabs used Bill Belichick's trick against him he was so f****** pissed on the sidelines cussing and freaking out it was hilarious. 🤣

There is no doubt the talent was there. But the fact this much cheating was swept under the rug is ridiculous. They treated it like nothing happened, so it probably kept going. And the fact it's rarely talked about is part of the cover up too. Craft used a lot of his power to keep things going. They even sat there and labeled the Super Bowl after Brady's suspension "Brady's revenge against the NFL".

Incorrect.. The fact that they were winning so much, without any real talent, was the first sign that made me notice that something was going on.. I said it years before the cheating came out that something wasn't right with this team. I was one of the very first people ever to recognize and say out loud that this team has something odd going on, almost like they're cheating... Turns out they were cheating in every game non stop for 20+ years.

It was not illegal to tape defensive signals. Everyone in the league did it. What WAS illegal was doing it from the sidelines, which in itself was a recent change. Bill thought the rule was stupid, and continued to tape from the sideline, even though Mangini warned him not to. Robert Kraft said it best: "Bill, did you know it was illegal to tape from the sideline?" "Yes I did." "Well, then, you're a putz."

The part of this I always point back to is Josh McDaniels' brief stint as the Broncos head coach. He was caught (surprise, surprise) video taping the 49ers practice in London, and wasn't the coach for much longer. When he was fired, he was again welcomed back with open arms as the Patriots OC.

Josh McDaniels has done nothing repeatedly over his career as a head football coach & yet he keeps getting opportunities over & over again. Including again now with the Raiders. All While other more better coaches don't. I smell a little head coaching privilege here being implemented for being a Bill Belichick Patriots guy. If you noticed, many former Belichick assistant coaches get hired all the time repeatedly more than others better candidates. Well, except for Romeo Crennel that is. I wonder why that is?🤔

It’s hard to imagine that the NFL might be as corrupt as FIFA, but there’s no reason to think they aren’t. With big wagers riding on games now, the stakes have been jacked up, and I think we know how that plays out. Think Black Sox. The Pats seem to be getting kid glove treatment in spite of the scandals, and that might have something to do with Kraft’s stature in the league. The NFL is, after all not a public service. It’s a creature of the owners…..full stop.

He knew every coach's scheme from his generation. When they fined him, he'd already known everyone's plays on specific downs. The NFL would bounce coaches around, and he had already known their game plans, down and distanced plays for years and years. And when you have the game's greatest game manager it equaled quick success. Now the NFL has younger coaches, he's got a new quarterback, and everyone is more than aware of the dude's cheating. He went right back to being the 9-7 Cleveland Browns he was prior to joining the Pats.

@@billytyler9106 He's never been a great offensive coach, he's always been a great defensive coordinator. I can't remember but I believe he was video taping defensive signals to aid his poor offense in 2001 I don't think you can be called the greatest coach of all time when you've done things like this to disrespect the other coaches from his generation. I don't think those coaches would call him the greatest. In some way, it was clever, and you have to admire the genius in finding loop holes within the game to press the boundaries of cheating. It's like admiring a 21 year old counting cards at the Casino, not everyone can do it so there's something to be said for that. But in regards to Belichek it seems clear that he's tried to weed people out to take the overall credit for the teams overall success, and he got away with it until now. He weeded out the last person who was the most loyal to him.

The Patriots cheated in Super Bowl 36 against the Rams. The Rams had the BEST offense in the league by far. They only scored a field goal in the 1st Qtr., and were scoreless in the 2nd & 3rd Qtrs. The Rams went to a No Huddle offense and scored 2 touchdowns in the 4th Qtr. Clearly, the Patriots were listening to the Rams plays, but with a No Huddle Offense, they could no longer hear the plays and the Rams scored easily. The Patriots cheated!!!!!!!! Losers!!!

To this very day I still don't know what all the fuss is with respect to "Tape-Gate". So they videoed the opponents signals. So what? Why weren't their opponents smart enough to protect their signals or change them up from week-to-week? Getting all upset about this is kind of like seeing a guy reach down and pick up a $100 dollar bill lying on the sidewalk and accusing him of petty theft.

There needs to be a 3rd party probe to investigate the officials, the commissioner, the players, and the coaches. Everyone involved in the league. Sports gambling needs to be shut down. The only thing that is going to change anything is legal action, people speaking up, and if we quit watching.

Haters gon hate... Sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet though. It sucks when everyone's cheating (filming/stealing signals was a common practice for a lot of teams) but you get caught, you end up becoming the scapegoat. Mangini "caught" the Patriots cheating because he had been involved with the same stuff when he was in New England, so who's the bad guy? Mangini had no problems with stealing team's signals until it was HIS team's signals getting stolen. As for the Colts and Deflategate? They lost 45-7, I'm sure it was just because of air pressure. Get fuckin real. The Patriots filled their balls with the exact psi the league specified, and they knew that the cold air would cause the balls to lose pressure... Of course Brady knew, how could be not notice the balls were softer? But this is not cheating, but exploiting the rules, and a coach's job is to find advantages where they can and exploit them. Every team does it, what about the Colts pumping in crowd noise over their PA system? Every team "cheats" but the Patriots won a lot so everyone blames them.

@@LembeckIsStaying oh so it's ok to cheat (artificial crowd noise) as long as you don't really cheat (manipulating equipment)... this proves that it's just haters hating, how can you criticize one team for cheating and defend another for doing basically the same thing? Cheating is cheating, and anything that gives your team an unfair advantage is cheating, period.

I feel bad for all of the great teams that should have won championships or at least played in the Super Bowl but got screwed by the Patriots. Unfortunately the NFL has gone completely off the rails and have decided that the “Patriot Way” is the best way because it's obvious in 2023 that the NFL is rigged and the games are fixed for sports betting. The refs are calling penalties where there are no penalties, when spotting the football they are moving the ball up in order to give their chosen team a first down when they are actually short, and they are using reviews to find penalties and then completely forgetting about the reviewed play and instead calling penalties on the team they want to lose. Teams are also in on it by kicking field goals when they actually need TDs at the end of games so they can cover the spread but not win the game. The NFL may not be completely scripted like the WWE but the games are not fair and outcomes are being predetermined and you are blind if you say I'm wrong.
