As a lifelong Washington fan, I legitimately gave up my fan card the final 2-ish years of his reign. There wasn’t a person in professional sports that I loathed as much as him and I couldn’t bring myself to spend a single fraction of my time or money on that punchable dweeb any longer. He slowly managed to suck all of the fun, value, and success out of such a historically dominant and respected franchise. The day he finally got forced out was the single greatest moment in the franchises history. It’s good to finally be back.

@@The_Crimson_Wolf_ That’s awesome. I moved out of the DMV a while back but I look forward to going to a game now. Also genuinely can’t wait till we get an updated stadium.. I realize DC isn’t a likely location since we lost the old RFK spot and moved to the concrete shitbox in Landover (another genius Snyder move) but man.. what I wouldn’t give to experience a game there.

@@Toosii2times oh Yeah, I hope we demolish this trashcan FedEx and get a real stadium... but other than that and hopefully improving our offensive line/offensive play, I couldn't ask for more. The crowd was electric when we made big plays, packed stadium. We will be back without this devil.

I had a good friend on the Skins medical staff during the RG3 debacle. He said it was RG3s' ego and his relationship with Snyder that ultimately ended his career. RG3 went around Shanahan and the medical staff to play when he should not have been. This is indirectly Snyders' fault too.

Sure, but your BOD could still completley screw things up either due to mass shareholder incompetence or their own will that could cause long-term harm no matter how quickly they are replaced. Additionally, if the league ever sees a need or want to move the team or replace certain aspects of the Packers, they will. WIthout a care for the vanity project/shares that are Packers ownership.

Also not to be snarky but maybe if sports cause you genuine depression and disgust invest less emotional energy into it. There are many things worth a lot more than what at the end of the day is just a corporation whose business is a game. It’s fun to be a fan I’m sure and it’s fun to watch wins and disappointing to see losses but if it’s to the point of being depressed over strangers who are corporate employees it’s likely unhealthy

Meanwhile the Redskins threw RG3 out there without fully recovering from an injury. Both of these franchises had generational talents. One of them got shit for protecting their talent. The other got shit for putting their talent at risk of sever injury. One of them one a championship and one of them is still a joke.

As a Native American, I (and my friends, family and Sioux Valley Nation) are furious that the NFL and Nike forced Washington to change their name from the Redskins to the Commanders. The Redskins were the 1st NFL team to have a Native American head coach, a Sioux named William Henry Dietz. Some have tried to smear his named, claiming he wasn't Indian and lied to dodge a draft. However today, the laws that make one a legit Native American are far more relaxed then ever before. Their Logo was approved by the Sioux Native Americans, and Dietz himself. And now, for some reason the name and logo are declared "racist" ? Like wtf?! So they remove the logo and team name, thus removing 1 more Native American stamp in America, and THAT is the "racist" part. It's clever racism disguised as anti-racism. They will Always be the Redskins to me and mine. And no way we're cheering for the Chiefs.

I am a Native American tribal member and my father is an elder. I could have cared less about Washington's old name. In fact I thought the logo was awesome. But I guess it was too much for some people. I think Commanders sounds stupid and the new logo is lame. They could have kept the logo and called them the Warriors. But all this other garbage. The sexual harassment of the cheerleaders and female employees. That is fucking gross. Those women weren't hired to be sex workers. Snider deserved to lose the team. His mismanagement has buried one of the best organizations in the NFL.

A lot of people may agree with you about the name, but you don’t speak for all Native Americans. I don’t have any Native American heritage, but I have had people tell me that were indigenous, that it bothered them.
@the_sixxness
@the_sixxness 8 ай бұрын
@@crosstatt7441 Where did I say I speak for all Native Americans? Don't put words in my mouth. I even said it was too much for some people. Now Washington has no Native American representation whatsoever. They didn't even keep the logo a Native American designed. I guess since some easily offended people were enough to throw out the baby with the bathwater. It's really too bad. Like I said in the post you apparently misread or didn't read at all they could have called them the Washington Warriors and kept the logo. But I guess the face of a Native American warrior was just as offensive as the name for some people. Go ask your "native friends" why that is.

@@crosstatt7441 I get that. But after they forced Washington to change their name they tried to make the Chiefs and Braves change their names too. They succeeded in making Cleveland change their baseball team's name. These people didn't ask a single one of the nations how they felt about about any of it. Not one. I belong to the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians. They belong to the Iroquois Nation. No one came and asked "How do we improve this?" They just said fuck it. If the Native Americans want to complain I guess we just won't have any Native representation at all.

I have no idea if he was the worst but in my case, I was so frustrated with how the team under Snyder performed that I just gave up on the NFL entirely. No fantasy football, no nothing. I just don't care at all anymore. If anyone would have told the early teenage me that I would never bother to watch NFL games anymore, I would have said they were crazy. I wish the team well but I'm not coming back to watch this team, or any team, ever.

1974! I received a REDSKINS helmet for Christmas. It stayed on my dresser as I got older. I started keeping up with the team,players and a die hard fan. Nobody realized when Snyder bought the team he would tear it apart. Season after season no fan base in sports has dealt with the constant BS Redskin fans have. The Redskin logo was iconic. I never dreamed the name would be changed. NFL owners and Redskin fans wanted Snyder gone. I guess 6 billion is a reward for being so successful. Successful failure.

Agreed. And I'm a Giants fan! The ONE good thing Snyder did (at first) was resisting the political correctness and standing fast against the name change. But eventually he cowardly bent the knee to the social justice mob. One black man gets killed while resisting arrest, and all of the sudden we're supposed to change team names, treat "Redskins" like it's a curse word, and put virtue-signaling political messages in end zones? And don't get me started on Jon Gruden. For God's sake there isn't a person posting in this comment section that doesn't have anything he/she has ever said that was insulting or offensive.

RG3 had the talent to be a star but owner & coach put a QB out on the field when he shouldve been in a hospital and getting the knee better so they have him for next 5 + yrs , but no he was treated like a part if it breaks a new one goes on . Not thinking he had a very special player , so the coach thinking about his wallet put a 1 legged man in a ass kicking match and robbed the NFL & fans of a QB that would have thrilled fans for yrs now all we have is the play where his career really ended. It was over that day not yrs later.

One thing about all of this, i think it shows just how good of job Ron Rivera has done coaching the team. With all that noise going on with the ownership, the disgusting harassment to the cheerleaders and female employees, the team name and how it was handled, he at least made them respectable. It easily could be a dumpster fire by that time but he didn't let it happen.

A great accomplishment in the history of KZfaq Documentaries. I can only imagine the amount of work that went in to a project of this size. But I do need to give full disclosure and explain that I only knew around 35% of the info. So it will be up to others, to analyze the info and make sure of it's accuracy. I did want to offer some constructive criticism. I watch a lot of true crime shows ans historical documentaries. Many of those deal with rape and murder. I found that your use of certain music and sound effects, mave the program feel a bit over the top. I understand this is a very dire subject but what happens when your next project is about murder or rpe? When you turn the dial to 11, too early. You can only reel things in and now your tone will have a hard time meeting the subject matter. Like I said, nothing personal. I just though I'd throw you an applicable Tip. Cheers from Canada
