When 18-year-old Erin Bailey decided to put on a Pride festival for her senior project, she expected maybe 50 people would show up.
But she happens to share her hometown of Columbus, Indiana, with Vice President Mike Pence--a vocal opponent of LGBTQ rights--and her idea quickly blew up, becoming a symbol of resistance in a largely conservative region.
We followed Erin on the day of the festival, and met other members of the community who spent years making an event like this possible.
