Played live with no sequenced parts (except drums).
Almost all melodic sounds generated with Sylenth One VST, first drum loop sampled from the original song, second loop is a stack of several samples from the XP30, as well as the orch hit, and the "frying pan" sound is a sample from a Yamaha SY35. Keyboards are used just as controllers. The project is hosted in Ableton Live.

Your score enhanced that film immeasurably, completing it and making it perfect. Even now, the soundscapes you created are intense beyond description, conjuring a mood and feel that is just as darkly futuristic and unstoppably powerful as the Terminator itself.

This right here got me some real teary-eyed vicarious feelz. Definitely God-tier praise. One of the most influential songs from my childhood, a big reason I was inspired to write/record/perform in the first place. Thank you Mr. Fiedel! And Hugo, this cover is intense and thank you for sharing this!

A once in a lifetime experience! Pretty much everything with this movie was perfect. Score, acting, setting, tone even the way it was filmed as a low budged Dark Science-Fiction Thriller mostly filmed at night because they had no permission to film the movie.

I was on a hospital bed last year after a stroke and a heart attack and I would listen to this music on repeat for hours, this helped me somehow. Will never forget this.

I grew up in the 80s. High-school, arcades, going to the malls to check out the girls with the wildly teased hair, absolutely no internet and social media to destroy the minds of millions of youth, best music ever. Yes, the 80s was the last best and greatest decade ever.

Увы и отнюдь, этот "шедевр" , как и всë на этой Земле, будут далеко не ВЕЧНЫ! Отруби у всех электричество и... ВСË!, "... плакала берëза горькими слезами! ". Устрой кто-либо из мировых правителей апокалиптический хаос на планете... и ВСË! Ну и на последок, почитайте пророчества апостола Иоанна, касаемо последних времëн человечества перед и после Страшного суда Бога и.... ВСË! Всë что было сотворено здесь на Земле - СГОРИТ и будет уничтожено! Так что... этот "шедевр" будет не вечным! И у него будет своя черта, помяните мои слова🙂! @Nubihotep that didn't come till the 90's, aids was still being assembled in the Sudan. Crack was being researched in Columbia at the time. Cancer was only available to the rich and sonny and crocket for having that airstrike device they called a cell phone(Microwaves were just being built, cell phones weren't attached to peoples brain stems; only rich people had computers) and food came from real animals and plants. But car accidents were killer in the 80's no airbags, or enforcements of any kind.I had the luxury of being in one of those infamous runaway Toyota's, where the gas pedal gets stuck and you take off at 100 miles an hour.

@Nubihotep I live in Cali, I was a kid back in the 80's things didn't get bad where I lived till 88-89. But compared to now those times were truly a creative time to live. Music TV shows, Microsoft stock if you were smart enough to buy a couple 1000 shares :D. But HIV and AID's isn't a problem, unless you stick your dick in unfamiliar places. You have to be a real Thundericator to get that DLC. Also aids doesn't have a preference it will take anyone that jiggles it's branch. However people like Magic Johnson his HIV is so powerful that AID's is afraid to come near him. I've seen so many people come and go since Magic Johnson announced he had HIV it's just amazing. He'll die of old age before HIV takes him out.

I miss 80's and 90's films. Sure, the quality and special effects back then are massively out done nowadays, but seriously the intensity of this film. The realness and the rawness the films had back then. They had to really try hard to make it look and feel good. We're too spoiled by technology now and it feels they don't have to try so hard. The music alone in older films pulls you in and makes it an intense experience. It feels like movies are slowly dying now. They lack that certain aire. Like the magic is dwindling away.

Big props for keeping it in 13/16! All subsequent versions of the theme are in 6/8, which sounds grander and "more correct", but Fiedel's original recording was in 13/16, and is the only song out there besides very niche projects to use this time signature.

This is one of the best covers I have ever heard. This video launched my desire to buy a synthesizer and learn to play piano and keyboards. I now have 3 synths and am 6 months into lessons. And…I can play this on my synth. Cool!

Помню, в детстве, мне было 11 лет, когда в первый раз смотрела этот фильм. В конце фильма, когдашли титры и играла эта музыка, я пыталась записать ноты, чтобы не забыть её 🤦♀️🤷♀️😍😍 ибо не видеокассет, ни чего-то другого не было у меня тогда. I watched the Terminator over and over from when I was 6 years old. Was an eye opener as a kid. The theme song is legendary and this cover is absolute amazing. Well done. 10/10

Absolutely, incredibly brilliant! Reminds me of sitting in the movie theatre on opening night when the theme song was playing. The excitement, the packed movie theatre and the intense anticipation during the song had the entire room hyped up for the film. Owen Chase science channel The Alesis Fusion alone is going to set you back about $800 in used condition. Pick up an 88 key version with weighted keys and you're at close to $1k used. Then, the xp-30 is going to cost you about $700 used. The roland drum machine is hard to see but maybe an mc505 (figure $350 used) and lastly the novation 25sl mkii MIDI controller keyboard is going to set you back about $200 used. Add in stands, midi cables, decent cans or monitors, and a mixer and audio cables and you are easily in the. $2350 to $2600 ballpark. I'd budget 2.5k to be safe.

Мировая музыка, мировой 4:56 фильм. Любой человек на планете смотрел эти шедевры (1,2) и никто не скажет , что это плохие фильмы. Боже, этот саундтрек , его можно слушать всю жизнь и не наслушаться. Он погружает не только в атмосферу фильмов о Терминаторе, но и заставляет вспомнить о своём детстве, когда собирал наклейки от жвачек с Арни и терминатором, клеил аккуратно на холодильник и чувствовал себя героем, когда играл в фишки CAPs во дворе с пацанами, когда устраивали войнушки с воздушками на пульках...Эх были времена. Помню как 1000 раз пересматривал VHS с этими фильмами.Как было грустно после просмотра второго фильма и страшно перед просмотром первого.Спасибо Джеймсу Кэмерону за такое видение в кинематографе, спасибо Брэду Фиделю за невероятную музыку и конечно же спасибо Великому Арнольду Шварценеггеру за исполнение самой великой роли в истории кино."Терминатор" это не просто название фильма или киборга ,это слово стало именем нарицательным на всех языках мира.В конце концов мы все умрём, а киборги - убийцы будут жить вечно )) Как сказал Т-800 - "I know why you cry now. But it's something I can never do."
