The crazy thing about togashis writing is the way he can build up so many badass characters that it makes it hard to imagine who would win in a clash. Beyond, Ging, Pariston, chrollo, hisoka, kurapika, tserriednich and even Benjamin all seem crazy strong. Even the king hui guo rou has some crazy ass shit hes planning. All of this is unpredictable.

This is just a theory but I think he actually cares about the people around him like Theta. And the reason his nen beasts ability to punish lyres was created as a reflection of his want to find people who actually like him. He naturally places lots of trust in people so growing up in a position were everyone is out to take advantage of him psychologically damaged him. When Theta shot him in the mirrored world he was distraught. I also think a major theme of the arc is trust. Most of the beasts’ powers revolve around trust and control. Forcing trust, ( princes 12 8 6 2) measuring trust, (9) finding who are trustworthy, (4) and some reflect the trust between characters. (Princes 11 and 10). While others who trust issues like number 5. So having a villain who desperately wants someone to trust fits. This is just a theory.

The true evil behind him is that he took the easy concept of seeing the future and explained it in the most complex and confusing way possible

I just noticed that the decapitated head on Tserriednich's collection is Kurapika's best friend Pairo, sheesh, Kurapika is going to be a beast in this arc.

I actually love him, he's very charismatic like Patrick Bateman from American Psycho. He is very cultured, mysterious, suave, handsome and rich. I see him as a cross between Chrollo Lucilfer and Hisoka. So i can see how he attracts his subjects.

He is already my favorite antagonist and character in this new arc. Tserridenich is scary because he’s a total sociopath. Meruem wanted a new world, Tserri just want to destroy the already existing one, he pursues the murder of every form of life.

This is why I love Hunter x Hunter every arch not only do they manage to raise the states, but also always introduce an antagonist who truly embodies the level of danger the Characters are in. The Phantom Troupe, Hisoka, The Chimera Ants all of them were dangers like not other in their own respected archs. Now we have Tserriednich Hui Guo Rou who togashi is clearly building up to be the big bad of the first half of the dark continent arch. What I love about him is that he is probably one of the most interesting characters we've seen in a long time in Hunter X Hunter. Normally is anime/manga characters like him are stupidly overpowered but have no depth or real personality yet he has it all and then some which makes him awesome. Honestly if it comes down between him and Kurapika I can't see Kurapika winning alone unless he has help from one of the other princes like Halkenburg or perhaps Benjamin who despite being Tserriednich older brother from the same mother hates him with all that he is. Either way he's gonna need serious backup to take the guy down.

We are all going to score A's on the HXH pop quiz. This gets me so excited for the manga/anime's return.

The tricky part about nen insofar as it functions as a narrative tool for Togashi comes in to play here. Kurapika is enormously powerful in his pursuit of the Phantom Troupe because he has crafted nen abilities tailored specifically for the Spiders. Tserriednich could become the next target for a new slew of Kurapika abilities in the same way, because Tserriednich has the scarlet eyes, and the head he has is likely the severed head of Kurapika’s closest childhood friend, Pairo. Seems like he has as much, if not more reason to ruthlessly hunt Tserriednich than he has to hunt the phantom troupe.

One of the many many reasons Terrorsandwitch is so damn interesting is his guardian spirit beast. That thing is the best combination of creepy, terrifying, mysterious and powerful. I need Togashi to at least give us details on the conditions of each spirit beast. Also Tserriednich reminds me so much of Euron is ASOIAF, easily my favorite character.

The way Togashi is, this guy is gonna win the succession war and make things in the Dark Continent *_very_* dicey. Edit: imagine if during/after the Dark Continent arc Chrollo stole _any_ one of this guy’s abilities. Chaos

I thought seeing Pitou decaying the leaf during water divination was impressive, but this guy... what the hell was that, it boiled the water, rot the leaf and I'm pretty sure that water is not even water anymore.

Togashi made this guy so OP than something very extreme has to be done to deal with him,: postumous Nen, somehow trying to outwit him and force him to go against another huge threat like the First prince or the Spiders and then deal with him while weakened or since he seems to be Kurapika's enemy maybe he could be deceived to somehow join the troupe (not as an ally but as a full member) so he can use the full extend of his powers against him. This arc has so much potential, the wait for new chapters is killing me.

It's also amazing he's the fourth prince. japanese character 'shi' (四) which is the number 4 sounds similar to 'shi' (死) which means death. Hence it's also amazingly ironic in Bleach that the squad number (四) is the medic squad. Their captain Unohana Retsu is one of the most diabolical character in bleach.

Not many people will read this, but every nen ability has a pro and a con as we can see on Kurapica's "Emperor Time". So I really wanna know what the con of Tserriednich's Nen-Ability is and how he will find out about it. imo it has to be a OP nerf for this so overpowered character, I can also imagine that his ability has not such a terrible con like Kurapica's. I didn't really think much about it but I hope somebody will see this and give his own opinion.

I would say that the scariest thing about Tserriednich is the fact that he is the character most removed from humanity. Disregarding some of the minor chimera ants, the majority of "evil" characters do have some sort of relatable human qualities. Hisoka, while a twisted man, can still act as a normal person and have normal interactions. Meruem, Pitou, Yupi and Pouf all gain humanity throughout Chimera Ant Arc while even someone like Illumi has an honest love for Killua, it's just twisted to all hell. Tserriednich, on the other hand, feels 100% cold. He feels distant from anything that you can name "humane". I might be wrong but, to me, the craziest thing about him as how you cannot connect or relate to him not on even a single topic because of a huge ice wall that he has between himself and everyone else. And he is 200% comfortable with that. So...maybe next video can show some love to Camilla, possibly most underrated Prince?

I feel like chrollo will seek help from him because kurapika and hisoka will come to blows with him and chrollo because kurapika and hisoka will end up killing the spiders and it just feels like him and chrollo would get along as well

Most interesting part to me is that he awoke nen through meditation (naturally). Truly dwarfing Gon and killua's talent as nen users. I can only imagine halkenberg putting any threat to him since we know they are close to each other and respect each other.

For some reason seeing monsters like terror sandwich and gyro gives me a hope that gon and killua will be back again .Both of these bad boys are just getting started and already they show the potential of overpowering every single op hunters and villains we have seen in the show .To battle these monsters the hxh world needs another group of monsters .Thats why i think gon will probably get his nen back and meetup with killua .Besides in the manga it is said that gon and gyro are destined to meet in the future

In terms of raw talent the king as well as royal guards may be ahead of him, but unlike them this man isn't gonna slack of on anything, because of his nature to pursue art he will keep practicing and will surpass the ants easily in terms of nen.....

Actually Tserriendrich has a guy who does make a piece of art, which is then placed on a wall, from the torso skin of one of the girls. So it's not only the process for him.

some famous male artists in history weren't so different from tserriednich. of course as a fictional character he's exaggerated but there have been many male artists who physically and emotionally abused women, often their wives, for their art. some of the stuff you hear about while learning art history is nearly as disgusting as the things tserriednich does. these male artists were (and are) all artists with high reputation and status. their inspiration and subject was the abuse they subjected onto others. i'm not sure if togashi was inspired by that or not but it surely reminded me of those "artists".
